If I won the lottery today, I'd click each one of these items home by tomorrow and I'd wear all of them everyday this fall.
However, I have been giving investing more often in designer pieces some thought, and I think I would never invest in the Givenchy boots as amazing as they are, since several questions pop up in my mind as I think about spending over 1,000 Euros on a pair of shoes, such as: Will they be out next year? Are they really a timeless, classic piece? How often would I wear them? Are they comfortable for everyday use?
I cannot imagine how someone who invested a lot of their savings last year in the Isabel Marant fringed boots must feel now that they are "out", I wouldn't like to be in their place, so this is mainly the reason why I think it is important, unless you are a millionaire, to pick wisely what you are going to invest a lot of money in. Make it a simple and classic piece that you are sure you are going to wear a lot and that is never going to go "out".
This is why I would definitely invest on the other pieces such as the coat (timeless), the PS11, a basic flared skirt, and definitely beautiful chunky knits!
