Every year when winter rolls around, I always seem to gravitate towards dark, neutral colors. This year in particular has really been a struggle, and I have to make a conscious decision every morning to wear something bright. I love this colorful, polka dot dress from ModCloth, especially how flattering the A-line fit is. I think it would be perfect to brighten up a gloomy, snowy/rainy day! The dress seemed a bit fancier than what I would wear on a typical day, so in order to dress it down a bit, I paired it with a casual chambray and a neutral purse. I also wanted to play on the different colors in the dress, adding some vintage-y bright red shoes and confetti inspired mittens, along with some green earrings and a fun umbrella. Don't forget to add some bright pops of color to your wardrobe this winter!
