Happy Monday everyone, and sorry for the late post this morning. I haven't been feeling too great, and we have been spending the majority of our time packing up our apartment, so it's been busy around here!

Today is my second Holiday look this season, and of course it involves sequins and bows. I couldn't pass up this J. Crew Factory sequin skirt-- [unfortunately it's already sold out online!] An outfit like this would be perfect for any of your upcoming holiday parties!

Thanks for following along...

Love to fall in love

xzz1 xzz3 xzz2 xzz6 xzz5 xzz4 xzz8

You know, I easily fall in love with certain clothing items when I see them hanging beautifully but lonely in a shop or with jewelry and I do restrain myself to not buy them all, but I do make a selection every now and then, hoping they still exist and on an impulse I just let myself be devoured by their beauty. I felt that way with these shoes I am wearing here, with the sandals I received yesterday, with a certain pair of turquoise colored earrings I saw a few hours ago, a 1950's vintage dress way too expensive for me right now [sigh].. and I can't help but wonder how powerful this feeling is for..objects. I think it's safe to say I am addicted to it. And boy, I do get goosebumps!

Lady in leather

At first I wanted to dress only in that skirt with another jacket/blazer but then I paired it with my peplum jacket and I thought it was a great match, there isn't such a thing as "too much leather in a single outfit" right? I mean, just look at the runways. And there wasn't a chance that I would turn myself into a hard rocker because they don't wear 1950's wide skirts and headbands. Speaking of which, I just bought it earlier in the day thinking how well it resonates with my bow tie - regarding this, I have to say that I have a new obsession! They are the cutest thing!
Yesterday was a great Spring day, now on the other hand, it's cold again, boring boring boring! - boo!

One of those dream dresses..

Guess what? Just two days ago I received this dress from the lovely people over at Dressestylist not long after they sent me this one. Of course I was psyched when I found out that I am able to choose a second one. This time I opted for a more versatile dress, with a silhouette that reminds us of the '50s fashion and of course...in burgundy!
What I love most about this particular dress is the bow details around the neck, it makes it so interesting and feminine, just perfect for my taste!
It was such a pleasure taking these photos even though I might have caught another cold, I simply love posing in pretty fabulous dresses that make me feel glamorous and lovable. I can't wait for another occasion to wear it again to be honest.msd7 msd4 msd9 msd3 msd2 msd8 msd1 msd5

Well, if it's too hoot outside, wear cold colors, and electric blue is the perfect shade! Not that it helped me much, but seeing it now, makes me think of the Arctic Ocean.
These photos were taken after some friends and I went at the cinema to see Snow White and the Huntsman; I was looking forward seeing it, not because of Kristen Stewart, but because of the twist and the action and naturally, the costumes. I am not a film critic, so I will resume to just this: the scenes in which K-Stew (as people call her) appeared were completely ruined, but the rest was brilliant! If you are a fan of her I am sure you will like the movie altogether.
The bow-tie I received at a recent event I went to, is simply adorable and it highlights the outfit so well, don't you think?

Bucharest Style Anniversary

bs7

Friday night I went at the 2nd Anniversary of Bucharest Style, our very popular street style fashion blog which took place at Fratelli Espresso Bar, the same place I had my exhibition last week. At the event, the girls relaunched their site, with a brand new design, celebrated their work with their guests and they made this lovely video in which I along with other two fabulous girls took part in, you can check it out HERE
As for the evening, it was very nice, a bit too crowded and we had to yell at each other to maintain a conversation, the dress code was bows, bow-ties...anything with bows, this is the girls trademark - and I chose to wear a headband with a little bow. We drank cocktails and I chatted with loads of people, took photos and just enjoyed the company of my blogger friends. Also, I went back home with some goodies from Oriflame.
