Day Two: Neon Copycat

So today is Day 2 of the 30x30 Challenge and Copycat Tuesday, but before we get started I have a quick little story for you...
Remember this video?

Well ever since we watched it, H has warned me not to let this happen while curling my hair. But for real, who does this even happen to, right?? Well, I haven't curled my hair since I got it cut a couple of weeks ago, so on Saturday I decided it was time. I was literally on the last chunk of hair, when all of the sudden I smelled burning hair. Yup. I did the same thing! Luckily for me, the hair didn't just melt off like the girl in the video. Much smaller chunks came out, but it was still awful and I definitely started screaming. And it smelled like burnt hair for 3 days--even after washing it and dousing it in perfume. And the hair is discolored where it got burnt. Sad day. I don't even know how it happened, because nothing like this has ever happened to me before, but I guess the moral of this story is that it can happen to anyone! [Looks like I'm going to have to try Robyn's No Heat Boho Waves!]
Okay, back on track! For once I'm not copying The Pink Peonies! Instead, today's look is coming to you from Robyn of Cleverly, Yours. Robyn has been one of my favorite bloggers for a long time now, and all of her clothing is affordable, which is very refreshing!

[See the rest of Robyn's look HERE.]

Thank You's, Chevron, and Chambray

I just want to say a quick thank you to all of you that visit my little corner of the internet. Fashion Flirtation has grown so quickly in such a short amount of time, and it wouldn't be without you! Yesterday I had over 2,000 page views, and I am so extremely excited about it. So thank you for your support and for all of your sweet comments! They mean so much to me, even if I am not able to get back to them as quickly as I'd like. But THANK YOU, from the bottom of my heart!

As far as Copycat Tuesday goes, I based today's outfit off of Rachel from The Pink Peonies in this outfit:

I really liked how she wore a simple chambray over top of a dress, giving it a whole new look. I also am obsessed with wedges for summer. Here is my recreation of the style, not necessarily the outfit.

Dress: Kohl's [old, loving THIS one] // Chambray: Target [similar] // Shoes: Charlotte Russe [similar] // Bag: Marshalls // Sunnies: HelloFab

Don't forget to enter the two amazing giveaways that are going on right now! $300 J. Crew gift card and A Year Supply of Essie Nail Polish! And since Google Reader has officially shut down, I would love it if you would all follow along with me via Bloglovin!

Also, I'm getting my hair done today-- should I cut it again or grow it out? Should I get the bottom darkened since it's faded a lot or go back to all blonde??

Copycat: Red

For my copycat look this week, I unintentionally copied Rachel of The Pink Peonies again. I was already wearing this outfit [minus the shoes] when I came across her look, so I figured I might as well use it as my copycat look. Guys, I really love her style--though I'm sure you already know that!

See her full look HERE.

Top: J. Crew Factory [sold out online, similar] // Pants: Old Navy // Shoes: Elle [old] // Clutch: Clare Vivier // Bracelets: J. Crew Factory, A-Thread c/o // Sunnies: HelloFab

Also, I just need to talk about this fab clutch for a minute. I'm not usually one to spend an excessive amount on a bag, BUT I have been drooling over this one for the past couple of months. So when my blogger friend, Emily, was selling hers for less, I couldn't NOT take advantage of it. So thank you, Emily. I am absolutely in love with it!

Don't forget to enter the Wild Butterfly Boutique giveaway!!

Sequins

When I saw this top online during the J. Crew sale last week, I couldn't not buy it. I saw Rachel Parcell of The Pink Peonies wear it HERE and fell in love. [You all know how obsessed I am with her style.] I wore this look out shopping this past weekend with my mom and people kept stopping me to compliment my outfit. This is definitely one of my favorite looks because I absolutely love neon [duh] and sequins! On a side note, H had no idea what "sequins" were. He kept saying "sequence" instead of "sequins." Boys... ;]

So this is my weekly copycat outfit. If you click on the link HERE it will take you to her insta post where she wore neon and sequins.

Top: J. Crew [on sale!] // Pants: Old Navy // Shoes: DSW [other colors]  // Bag: Steve Madden via TJ Maxx // Sunnies: Forever 21

Any Bachelorette fans out there? What did you think of last night's episode??

[And please don't mind my post sig and the tabs at the top that currently aren't showing the correct picture. They will be fixed soon!! Thanks so much!]
