Over the weekend, H and I took our holiday pictures and I thought I'd share a couple of them with you today! I am obsessing over this Loft skirt and these glitter toe pumps, which are definite favorites, and perfect for all of the upcoming holiday celebrations!

Not another gloomy day

 

 November is an ugly month. Well, it's sunny outside today but let's face it, most of the time is cold, rainy, and dull. Yesterday was one of those gloomy days and if it had been for me, I would've stayed inside the house being a super couch potato, but as I had to go in town I at least decided to wear something really colorful. Color blocks are never out of fashion for me. 

I had this thrifted sweatshirt I recently bought and I wanted to take it out for a spin but the trouble is that it really seems to go with most of my jewelry collection and skirts so it was so hard to decide how to style it. However, for now, I settled with that sparkly necklace which I adore and a very cute dress underneath in the perfect color contrast and match. 

Everybody stared, of course, but at least I felt like a million bucks!

Be chic on a Sunday afternoon

 

 It's nearly the end of October and I am dressed like in Spring! Not that I am complaining, I wish this warm weather would last until December. How strange that would be? 

Anyway, I used some soft layers for this outfit just to create a fun and colorful look, because that new little cute bag that I recently found in a thrift shop wasn't enough to shine. So yes, you know me.

 And, as you can see, my hair color is darker - that wasn't supposed to happen! - but oh well, I will live with it for the next few months. I think my hair has been colored in nearly every shade of red..hope that boredom won't install too soon in my mind.

Allright peeps, I'm off to relax and then work - I know, I am not your ordinary normal person.

The basic white shirt: second look

 

 Here is my second look featuring this beautiful shirt from Be You, an example of how you could wear in the evenings, for a dinner party among friends, a movie premiere, a fashion show presentation, a birthday party, the list can go on. I chose to wear it with a pencil skirt and my shiny sandals, some sparkly jewelry and there you have it! You can't go wrong with this. 

This shirt is really versatile, you can add a pair of white flared pants, some black heels and a cute clutch, or a circle colored skirt and metallic shoes (I just love metallic shoes for evening wear!) What do you say?

Camasa, fiind destul de versatila mai poate fi purtata cu o pereche de pantaloni largi din voal, preferabil albi, un pantof negru, sau cu o fusta clos scurta si colorata si un pantof argintiu, metalic (sunt printre preferatii mei!) Ce ziceti?

Call me Grey

 

 Today I opted for neutral greys, don't ask me why, my mood isn't that down and the fact that I felt some warm Spring air through my lungs usually makes me throw on some color, but not today. I wanted to stay "calm" so to say, but I compensated with that sparkly necklace (which I could wear it with anything, even pajamas!) 

I said on my Twitter that I won't be too active on the blog because exams are approaching and I need to finish my projects which are time consuming (I literally feel that sleeping now is a waste of time!) so excuse my less frequent appearances.

My usual photographer is in the same position as I am so he cannot indulge me at this moment, this time I appealed at my colleague for these shots, which I thank her dearly!

Casual glam

 

 I bought myself a new shade of lipstick yesterday and I am wearing it with pride! I really like the way that orange color looks in contrast with my hair and surprise, my necklace. You know I love color, but this outfit is a bit more neutral for my taste, I just couldn't let go of that statement necklace, I guess the outfit would have ssooo boring without that sparkle.

 Anyway..things are moving slow here and I can't stop thinking of my home, my grandmother's cakes, my cozy bed and all thrift stores!! Until my Christmas break, I have to wait..

A bright sunshiny day

 

 The minute I got this necklace I instantly thought of color blocks! Even though it is bold and shiny enough to stand alone in a mist of pastels or neutrals, I wanted to exaggerate things, as I usually do. This is how you make me happy - award me with statement jewelery in the most sparkling and daring forms - shallow much? Who cares, I am a girl! Aren't we supposed to be gifted with beautiful things?
