BERNARD CHANDRAN'S WEARABLE AW10 COLLECTION

Posted by the Fashion Junior at Large

One of my top shows yesterday was Bernard Chandran. His AW10 collection just struck me as very wearable (apart from the dress with the extravagantly feathered arms). He used navy, black and strong greys and mixed thick wool with organzas and silks. The overall effect was of a collection (again bar the feathered pieces) which wouldn't look out of place in the office. That's not to say it came under that frankly tedious fashion genre 'work wear', the cuts were androgynous and he added some special touches - knotted rosette belts and beaded bibs.

I'll download the full-length images when they go up on Catwalking.com, but until then...
