That lonesome sound of Winter

 

 Winter came along with that specific silence and serenity which is lovely for the time being. Better even when you stay inside the house, not get your feet wet and not wishing for a hot drink every five minutes. But oh well, we have to deal with it, yes? After all, there is no place in Romania without at least a week of snow, so we were expecting a Winter Wonderland sooner or later. 

How do you like my new cape and skirt? I loved them the first minute I saw them on MiniPrix website and I thought they would be a perfect pair, and they are! And of course, the were on sale..so happy me! I felt so great wearing it because it has a great fabric and it keeps me warm and at the same time it felt so light on me. And the skirt that wrapped my body amazingly and again, felt very comfortable.

Hope you are not stuck in snow, people! After all, Monday needs our hatred.

Covered in velvet

 

 One of Fall's must-have items is the cape. It's elegant and feminine, it beautifully covers the shoulders and it's perfect for those half warm, half cold Autumn days when you need not cover yourself in heavy layers and just decide to look sophisticated.

 I don't think I will ever get tired of my one and only velvet cape, I especially love the dark color, a shade of black that looks so mysterious.

In the mist

 

I know.. poetic scenery and brilliant state of hair. I blame it on the lack of time and the moist in the air. I am not that satisfied with these photos, but at least it's foggy and I like fog. It's been like that for three days now, it feels so mysterious and looking from my window from the 9th floor, it looks like I am living in a cloud.

Batman or Dracula?..

 

 ..Either way, they both wore a cape and they both look mysterious. I have this fascination with capes, they cover the body in such a feminine way and they look as if they cover a secret..especially black ones. ESPECIALLY black VELVET ones. Okay I am bragging, but I am just too excited about this beauty I found in a small thrift store in my hometown.. during the Summer. 

Now my question is: Why on Earth would someone give that splendid thing away?

Autumnal Tones

I am back home in the soon to be Glacial Era. Honestly I had to wear layers (not that I am complaining) sweaters and ankle boots since it was sooo cold! It was too cold for sandals and a pair of socks or even a plain sweater. The wind was blowing hard and the air was so moist, hence the messy hair..I hate that! 

 About the look: I found that cape..or vest.. I don't know exactly how to categorize it, in a thrift store on sale (if that is even possible). I simply took it in my hands and went to the cashier as if someone would've grabbed it from my hands. I love it's original design and I couldn't wait to wear it! Paired with some mixed prints - I find these stripes and the floral motifs on my skirt a match made in Heaven - and spiced with some big stand out bracelets, yum! (I bought the black and white ones from Cluj)

I've had my eye on those Adidas sneakers for awhile now, but in dark red... Ok, I've actually wanted them since I was 10 + read R.L. Stine's The Babysitter IV lol. I always loved the look on the cover + would totally wear it today. Kinda reminds me of a T by Alexander Wang look.
