Polka Dot Top: Ann Taylor // Striped Top: c/o HelloFab [similar] // Pants: old, Similar // Coat: Lands' End // Booties: Target [sale!!] // Purse: c/o Lulu's // Earring: ILY Couture

Because sometimes when you wake up, all you want to do is throw your hair on top of your head [without looking in a mirror] and throw on your warmest coat before braving the cold... This coat that Santa brought me for Christmas is my absolute favorite! It is so thick and warm, and the color is absolutely perfect.

Bold Accessories

Striped Top: Old Navy // Poncho: c/o Kiki La'Rue // Jeans: Current/Elliott // Shoes: Franco Sarto [similar] // Necklace: c/o Chloe & Isabel [Multi-strand Signature Torsade Necklace] // Mittens: Lands' End

If you read yesterday's post, you know how hard it is for me to wear bold colors in the winter. For some reason, it just seems like they should be saved for the spring and summer. That's why I like to purchase bright accessories (like these lavender gloves or my pink Hunter boots) to add a pop of color to my otherwise neutral palette. I am also dying over this gorgeous necklace from Chloe & Isabel--it's my new favorite! It's the perfect necklace to bling up any outfit!

Spotted

Top: J. Crew Factory // Skirt: Loft // Tights: ASOS [similar] // Booties: Target // Gloves: Lands' End [similar] // Earrings: ILY Couture // Phone Case: J. Crew Factory

I'm so sorry for my absence in the blogging world lately, but not to worry... I'm back! :]

This Loft skirt is one of my absolute favorites, especially during this holiday season! I showed you in THIS POST how to glam up this skirt, but I also wanted to show it's versatility and how it can be dressed down. I paired it with a basic chambray and polka dot tights, and I loved the result! I am a firm believer that everyone should have a pair of polka dot tights in their closet, so if you don't, make sure you snag a pair! [They would also be a great stocking stuffer! ;]

Thanks so much for stopping by, and have a great day!
