Feeling Blue

Happy Thursday! I am so excited to finally share this outfit with you! I purchased this jacket from Banana Republic about 6 months ago on super sale, even though I knew I wouldn't be able to wear it until the fall. I fell in love with it and just couldn't pass it up for only $20, right??

Anyway, I am going out to Phoenix Fashion Week tonight (thanks to my girl Latisha) and I am so excited about it! Stay tuned for pictures!

Blackout

Yesterday I had the most unfortunate moment... I was on the phone with my friend and I said, "What day is it? Tuesday, Wednesday?" To which she responded, "Uhh it's only Monday." And then I wanted to cry a little bit. Isn't that the worst feeling? When you think you're already halfway through the week for some reason, yet it's really only been one day?

Anyway, this outfit (and yesterday's too) is my go-to for fall. An oversized sweater or shirt dress paired with leggings and booties. I wish I could wear this all year round! Fall is definitely my season, and oh by the way... It is only 61 degrees right now and I've said this before, but I kind of want to cry about it. But this time out of happiness.

Ripped Denim

Happy Friday! I'm excited about this outfit, because I'm wearing one of the few pairs of denim that I love. Some people think it's crazy to spend a lot of money on a pair of jeans, and I used to be one of them. Why spend hundreds of dollars on pants when you can get them at Forever 21 for $10? But let's be honest. While I love Forever 21 and how inexpensive their clothes are, [I shop there all the time and have at least 5 pairs of their $10 denim], they are inexpensive because they aren't great quality. They don't last long, and they don't really look or feel that nice. I finally took the plunge and purchased a couple pairs of nice jeans, and I am OBSESSED. I don't know what rock I have been living under, but these jeans are the best and smartest purchase I have ever made. And even with how unimpressed I am with clothes in general [I am constantly buying clothes and then selling them a few weeks later], I know that I will have these babies for a very long time.

*Tip: Head to Nordstrom Rack in order to find designer clothes and great prices. These Paige skinny jeans that I'm wearing today are normally over $200, but I scored them for $60 at Nordstrom Rack!

I have been obsessing over ripped denim lately, [especially THESE which I also just recently purchased], so I thought I'd share my current favorites at a few different price points. My favorite pair of jeans that I own are J. Brand. They are high in quality and I think definitely worth the price. You know that I'm not crazy about jeans because of my struggle with finding a pair that fits me in the right ways, but the J. Brand skinny jeans that I picked up at the ILY Fashion Market changed my mind and I'm now convinced I need them in every color and style.

I hope you have a great weekend!!

Le Tote: Part 1

Okay, have you ever heard of Le Tote? Basically you pay $49 a month and you have an unlimited closet! You take a style quiz, determining the style of clothing you like, and Le Tote will send you a package with 5 clothing items in it. The best part is, you can wear them however many times you want! [And if you love any of the items, you can just keep it and they will bill you for it.] Once you send that package back, they will send you another package of fabulous clothing. It's like a Netflix for your closet! When I heard about this concept, I almost freaked out, because it's kind of the best idea ever! My first package arrived a few days ago and I instantly fell in love with this dress. H says it makes me look like some kind of queen. Hey, I'll take it! ;] You'll be seeing more from my Le Tote closet, so stay tuned!

Oh, and these shoes. Aren't they just to die for? They are yet another item I grabbed from Rach of The Pink Peonies the second I laid eyes on them. I knew that they belonged in my shoe closet, and I couldn't be happier about my purchase. The gold strip on the bottom is perfect finishing touch!
