First off, these pics were taken some days ago while it was warm and I just had to take advantage of the nice weather to wear my birks for the last time this year. Let's face it: this summer was wayy too short and even though there were quite a few extremely hot days, it was simply not enough. So there you go, you have me in denial and I think I will continue like this unless it gets too cold for bare legs and sandals. Do you blame me? x

Erstens will ich sagen, dass wir diese Bilder vor einigen Tagen gemacht haben, als es noch warm war. Ich musste einfach das schöne Wetter ausnützen, um meine Birkenstock fürs letzte Mal dieses Jahr zu tragen. 

Die Wahrheit ist, dass dieser Sommer viel zu kurz war und obwohl es einige Wochen gab, wo es sehr heiß war, war es einfach nicht genug. 

Deshalb will ich es nicht wahrhaben und ich glaube, dass ich mich mit Röcken und Sandalen bekleiden werde, solange mir es das Wetter erlaubt. Könnt ihr es mir übel nehmen?

Primero que nada, estas fotos fueron tomadas hace unos días mientras todavía hacía un poco de calor y había sol, así que simplemente tuve que aprovechar el clima ideal para ponerme por última vez mis sandalias estilo birkenstock. Creo que no soy la única que piensa que este verano fue demasiado corto y pese a que hubieron días muy calurosos, simplemente no fue suficiente. Así que me tendrán huyendo de la realidad y continuando así hasta que el clima me impida ponerme sandalias y faldas. Me podéis culpar?

I gave in the most hated trend of the season: the Céline inspired birkenstocks. After seeing so many looks, lookbooks, and editorials and how stylish they can look, I just couldn't help it. This definitely will not be my last look with them, since I have thought of a million ways of styling them elegantly. I even want a pair in white. Just picture them with white baggy trousers and a white tank top! I know for sure that I will be living in these all summer long. ;)

Letztendlich konnte ich mich nicht zurückhalten und trage den meistgehassten Trend der Saison: Birkenstock, die von Céline inspiriert sind. Nachdem ich so viele Looks und Lookbooks gesehen habe und wie stylisch sie aussehen können, konnte ich mich einfach nicht mehr zurückhalten. Das wird definitiv nicht mein letzter Look mit diesen Schuhen sein, da ich sie auf unendliche Arten tragen könnte. Ich will sogar ein Paar in Weiß. Stellt euch diese Schuhe mit weißen Baggy-Hosen und einem einfachen weißen Tank-Top vor ,und wie stylisch das aussehen würde. Ich bin mir sicher, dass ich diese Schuhe den ganzen Sommer tragen werde..

Al final no pude resistirme a la tendencia más odiada de esta temporada: las Birkenstock inspiradas por la colección actual de Céline. Después de haber visto tantos looks y lookbooks con estas sandalias y al ver lo estilosas y elegantes que se pueden ver, simplemente no pude evitar caer. Éste no será mi último outfit con ellas, ya que he pensado en mil formas de ponermelas. Hasta quiero unas en blanco! Sé que me las pondré todo el verano y no me cansaré de ellas.
