Purple and blue for October

 

 It's been raining here for almost two days straight. Just when I decided to curl my hair and be all lady like. I am surprised it worked (not much for the curls though) as I usually am quite "meh" when it comes to dressing up in rainy weather. I always feel like wearing jeans and some sneakers not to ruin my fancy shoes - but sometimes exceptions can be made and luckily these white shoes ere not ruined. 

What can I say, Autumn came and it is staying. So is my melancholy and my "not-in-the-mood-to-do-anything" state. At least I can drink tons of tea and read books while gazing the rain outside from time to time - that is a lovely Autumn scenario for me.

 I'm wearing a sweater. More likely, a cardigan, but seriously..knitwear, already?!

 Both my brian and body is confused with the weather outside and even though I considered wearing lighter layers, nothing else from my wardrobe winked at me, so this striped cardigan was a great choice in the end. Don't get me wrong, I love when chilly days are approaching and that smell of fresh cold Autumn air is the best, but it seems a little too early and I let's just say I am not mentally prepared, yet.

 I wore that rainy day a purple almost-suede thrifted dress and a royal like belt that I was so eager to wear! Again, found in a thrift shop for about 1.5 euro. 

 

Wearing: everything I am wearing is thrifted, except for the H&M green rings and Meli Melo blue stone ring and earrings.

 This song has been stuck in my mind for a very long time and naturally when I started to make this post, certain lyrics from it came to my mind - it feels like, to me, it has turned into this Summer's hymn. I remember two Summers ago, Lana del Rey's "Summertime sadness" became my ultimate favorite song of that season. And I love to obsess over a song.

 Leaving music aside, you might have noticed on my Facebook page how excited I was to find this little pair of shorts in a thrift shop; the fact is, I have been searching for the right kind of denim shorts with a high waist just to make my legs look infinitely long (I do so love that effect) for quite some time and I was never satisfied. Not to mention the ridiculous prices I had to pay for such little fabric - I mean..to cost as much as a long pair of jeans? - that seems absurd. So I payed less than 1 euro for these and boy, do I feel devilishly happy or what?

I am having a three-day weekend and it feels sooooo goood! (muahahaha!)

Colorful rainy days

 

 This unpredictable Summer weather leaves me confused. Regardless of how chilly it can be, I definitely refuse to wear a second layer of clothing or take a umbrella with me, just in case. No, no, why do that when you can shelter yourself under a huge umbrella at a terrace and also enjoy a calory bomb frappe while looking at people who ran through the pourring rain? 

That is what I did, well, the day was quite sunny and I went with a friend at this little lovely place called Bistro Viena for a chat and that is when the rain started and I just thought: "Man.. my lovely plan of shooting photos is ruined". However, the rain stopped and everything went back to normal since now I am sitting in my home slowly melting from the heat. 

I managed to finally wear my colorful maxi dress without stepping into puddles and turning it into mud. Congratulations are in order I think.

A nameless color

 Can anyone define the color of this dress for me? Because even though I studied arts and colors pretty much all my life, I still can't put a name on this particular one. Ciel blue? Pastel cyan? Aqua?
In any case it is a strange color, but still pleasant. I think I've always felt attracted by it even though I don't have anything else in this shade in my wardrobe, so when I got the change to pick something from Sheinside, my eyes fell upon this dress instantly. Not only the color, but also the cute feminine ruffle that emphasizes my chest ( #insert evil laughter) 
So for all your girls who are looking to add volume in that area and create optical illusions, this is the way to go! This is one of those simple dresses with a twist that is very easy to wear and style.

Did I mention that the fabric is so silky soft that you even forget you are wearing it?

The little black ...jumpsuit!

 

 Yesterday I arrived in my hometown but only for a few days, because Saturday I have to be in Bucharest for the 30 seconds to Mars concert - I mean, how could I resist not seeing this face live?! No, no, I am not going to the concert for that reason only, but I am excited anyway!

 I made these photos the day I arrived home, and well, it was charming (insert irony tone here) to feel the heat on my skin and to feel dead tired and lifeless after I got home. Oh, the wonderful days of Summer.. 

Anyway, I am wearing here a very cute jumpsuit (even the word itself is cute and funny) I got recently from Sheinside , even though I really thought about it first because I am not really a fan of them, but it seems that recently they started to grow on me, especially these short ones! I mean, look at how long my legs look! Since it's in black, it was very easy to accessorize it in any way possible (you can choose some high heels and sparkly jewelry for a dinner out in the city or a not-too-fancy party) and I chose to wear some color - because it was needed! 

Oh yes, and you can imagine the stares I got from all the town's grandmas; seriously, this place is getting too old.
