Purple and blue for October

 

 It's been raining here for almost two days straight. Just when I decided to curl my hair and be all lady like. I am surprised it worked (not much for the curls though) as I usually am quite "meh" when it comes to dressing up in rainy weather. I always feel like wearing jeans and some sneakers not to ruin my fancy shoes - but sometimes exceptions can be made and luckily these white shoes ere not ruined. 

What can I say, Autumn came and it is staying. So is my melancholy and my "not-in-the-mood-to-do-anything" state. At least I can drink tons of tea and read books while gazing the rain outside from time to time - that is a lovely Autumn scenario for me.

On Christmas day..

 Oh man, Christmas time is always filled with great sweets, too much food and so many kind of wines, honestly there are seconds in which my stomach is telling me to stop feeding it, but I really can't. The pleasures are just too high.
This is what I wore on Christmas day, which also means a visit to my grandparents (Yes, I also had a coat, it's not Spring yet here!) something not too fancy, but cute and chic. The town felt deserted as it always is during the Holidays, but at night you feel the excitement indoors, in clubs, where everybody is shouting, dancing and enjoying the "Disco Christmas" - a fever I begun to feel too lately..
 I feel relaxed and - I want to say cheerfull, but I am not that way at the moment, perhaps I will be tonight, that is when I usually am in good spirits.

In colder pastels

 

 It's really weird for me to dress up like this in December! For the past few days it feels more like a rainy warm Spring. In a way I prefer this to the snow and unbearable cold, but Christmas is approaching, and I am almost done decorating, but that cozy, specific Christmas spirit is missing.. Now I realise I could never live in Florida, South America or L.A. in this period of time!

 Even so, I choose to wear cold pastels, and you know, I created the outfit based on that bag (which resembles the Celine Phantom bag a bit) and I just love that moment when I see how everything just fits together!

In a turquoise dream

I am sure most of you know by now that one of my favorite colors and the one that I wear frequently is turquoise - in all it's shades! So it's no wonder you'll see me this time in a explosion of this particular color, I just liked the way that beret, the sweater and the shirt worked together and I wanted to add a contrast like I usually do, but since the coming of the cold season, I somehow looked more intro black and grey..which is not normal. 

This time I felt inspired and in a good mood I guess, so I choose the purple tights and coincidentally, matching gloves!

 Right now I am watching "Top Chef" in rerun, freshly returned in Cluj to resume my studies, and I am dying of hunger...If only I could cook like they do..mnom mnom!

The perfect contrast

 

 

   

This is another skirt I recently found in a thrift shop, it's about 3 sizes bigger than mine but with a belt it's just perfect. And what better way to wear than with a purple top? The color contrast is delightful, one of my favorites, even though I don't usually wear it.. And look, I even match the nature! I had no idea there were those flowers in that place, so it was a pleasant coincidence. 

 I received some wonderful goodies this week and I can't wait to show them to you, but I will be leaving for the weekend in the mountains, so no phone reception, no Internet, but lots of fresh air and I am sure it will do me good. Can't wait!

Wish I could stay more and tell you more about my last few days, but besides work and stressing out, there is nothing new. Except for this lovely walk I took with Andreea yesterday afternoon in the park. And what do you say about those flowers? Seeing them, makes my day much brighter!

Hello Rainbow!

This is how the "lovely gentlemen" on the street called me when they saw me dresses like this. This has happened before , so I am used to be shouted as if they are trying to get my attention for some meaningless purpose. Naturally, if among three thousand people, one is colored, they turn their heads and take a long stare like it's the first time they ever see color. No, I am not a clown , I think I used color proportionally today, and I don't feel weird, I feel different in a very good way and I love it, because in the masses of grey and black, I shine! - now I am turning narcissistic.
While chocolate and cakes make my body feel happy, color has this brilliant effect of making my mood much more sweater, even though sometimes I prefer earthy tones and grey when too much feels like too much.
