Weekend look: feminine and chic!

 

 Saturday was all about femininity, chicness and color! Since it was a warm sunny day, my spirit lift up and wanted to wear something nice to make me feel even more lively - oh, I've had the most strange days this past week; you know that feeling when you wish to shut down completely and go somewhere far away to gather yourself? Sometimes it's like that and sometimes it's alright. But "alright" isn't enough, is it? 

 By the time you read this I am probably somewhere outside the city relaxing at a barbecue, hopefully the weather is with us!

When a good day turns into a better one!

 

 Hope you're having a fantastic week! Mine started quite nice and I hope it will end in the same way. It began with a wonderful package I received about two days ago, in which these super tights waited to enchant my wardrobe forever! Okay, enough poetry for the time being.

They are from Surfdome, a wonderful online shopping site where you can find clothing of all kind! When I browsed through their collection I had no idea what to chose first! But then, I saw these tights HERE and I have already begun creating outfits in my mind. 

You know I am passionate about dots, and I wanted a pair of dotted tights since ..forever! Especially colored ones. So I created a casual-chic outfit, vintage inspired, in a great color contrast perfect for this season, composed of a thrifted vintage velvet skirt, a simple soft sweater and a 1960's style hat. 

I am thinking now of how to wear these tights with other prints - with great pleasure!

The Green Goblin

 

 Or rather a..stylish Green Goblin? That was the first thing that came into my mind when I saw these pictures and I thought it to be funny. 

 Quite a difference between this outfit and the previous one, wouldn't you say? But well, I have my moments of "blackness", as we all do sometimes.

Summertime...wishes!

 

 I just realized that we're in the middle of July, and that means that the first half of Summer has flown by way too quickly! And that means that I am starting to get sad. No, no, no, I mustn't. Really, all I can think about are fabulous trips, exciting places to see and amazing food to eat, haha! I need a true vacation, period.

The charm of old times

 

 Yesterday has been a long day, but nonetheless quite fun despite the fact that my feet ended up like a war zone. I went with the girls for a coffee on the other side of the city at one of their place and.. by foot. We decided to walk and I was ok with the idea given the fact that I had small heels and I could handle it. Yeah..I did, splendidly. By the time I got up on the hill I felt a bit uncomfortable but as soon as I put my shoes back on, oh mama.. it felt like walking with razor blades shoes. Most of you know what I'm talking about. So... I am now on a "flat shoe diet", though they hurt too. 

Anyway, walking around we encountered a street with soooo many beautiful old mansions, of which I simply fell in love with - if I could live there I would be the happiest person ever - and I decided to enter the gate and take some photos, just imagine at the top of those stairs a huge house with a beautiful garden. I was afraid to linger too much there, I imagined an old countess or something setting three dogs on me. Next time for sure I will explore the zone as much as I can.

Colors that are meant to be together..

 

 ..colors like the ones I am wearing here! Don't you think they just blend in one another and make a perfect..menage a trois? Okay, not turning this post into something inappropriate, I am just saying that I love them altogether and people stared at me on the street not sure why..was the too many colors, the hat or the tights? Anyway, it was bliss for me, ha ha haaaa! 

 Darlings, never be afraid of wearing colors, bold prints or mixed prints, it will make you feel powerful and amazing, trust me!

 

I also adore my ombre nails and this technique in general!

Pause from work

 

 It felt like Spring today, the sun was shining so beautiful, but there was melted snow everywhere, puddles and mud. Horrible. And I remember that two nights ago it snowed so beautifully, everything was white..Strange.
