Sunset Avenue

 

 I wasn't even sure I wanted to publish these photos since I never intended to make them for the blog, they were just for the sake of that beautiful light, but I am quite fond of the result and after some hesitation I decided to show them to the world. So it took me about two days to edit the photos and to decide to post them, because somehow I never found the proper time to really finish the task. Sometimes, the passion for blogging diminishes and I start concentrating on other things; but after a while I begin to miss all the activity that comes with it and I start focusing again. Do you ever feel like that? It's strange...sometimes I loose my motivation and I want to end it, but I immediately reconsider, so in the end, I am not at all near that point. I know I will regret that choice.
 Enough gloomy talks, I'll leave you with the photos and I hope you'll like them as much as I do!

Classic, simple, basic

 

 Sometimes wearing the basic outfits when you have no idea what to wear anymore, is the best option. And if you include some cool accessories that stand out, even better! Speaking of which, I had some vintage clip earrings with me and by the time I got to make these photos I took them off because they were killing my ears. Midway through the photoshooting I realised I left my earrings in my bag and I did not had the time to remake all the photos I made up until that point. And I was so disappointed because the earrings were so pretty... 

Next time I will try to be more careful. I was even about to loose my sunglasses and the sweater I had with me that day too. 

The weather is shockingly beautiful this week and I can't wait to go outside and enjoy Autumn!

The floral pencil skirt - a jewel

 

 I will always say that a pencil skirt with a floral print (the bigger the better) and in color, is a statement piece in any wardrobe.

 Looking at these photos makes me think that I need to find more skirts of this kind and start making a collection, haha.

That being said, I am taking off because I am already running late to a meeting.

 Remember this shirt I wore recently in a day when I was in no mood to play dress up? I decided to wear it here with a more feminine approach. And what screams feminine more than a skirt and some jewelry? So, here is how you can wear a oversized men's shirt and make it look sexy and cool! At least that is what I think and yes, I have to admit I felt really really good in it.

Pants or skirt?

 

 As I am sitting here, writing this post I am also eating a big portion of pancakes with chocolate and strawberries, at the same time I am working on my graduation paper and for my job. So I am pretty much multitasking today and for the rest of the month and the one after that! I am slightly panicking of course, because that is what I do when I am near a deadline, so this means that I will barely have time for blogging once again, but I trust you can understand that.

 In the meantime, it seems that Summer is eager to torture our skin and state of mind, as it is very very hot outside, perfect for light dresses and sandals. But I chose to wear my hybrid pants so to say, because they do resemble a skirt sometimes and it feels soooo good in them! The black shirt though...wasn't a great choice; it felt like a hot radiator.

Enough rambling, got to get back to work.

Pijama shirts - or not?

 I received this blouse not long ago from Sheinside and this is not the first time I am wearing it, but it is the first time it appears on this blog. When I had to choose from a lot of other blouses I was reluctant at first because I am not one to have a passion for teeny-tiny prints such as these. Dots, flowers, hearts, stripes, whatever, not a fan, they made me think of pijamas. Instead if you show me huge beautiful prints (preferably in crazy colors) on..anything, then you win me forever. The fact is, I don't know exactly what made me choose this blouse, perhaps the color, this minty green I will always adore, and the bow on the neckline, so feminine and elegant, I have a thing for those. I am happy with it, this is one of those exceptions I gladly accept, ha! And I am quite stubborn.
Worn with neutral or pastel pieces and it fits perfectly. Red will do too, but not very bright ok?
And I got to wear my new shoes I adore so much! It was one of those wonderful days when you find something beautiful (like...from ASOS) in an outlet store at a price so ridiculously low that just simply screamed: "BUY US! YOUR FEET WILL NEVER BE HAPPY AGAIN IF YOU DON'T TAKE US HOME!" 
So yes, I suppose that would've been true.

While Spring was blooming..

 

 It's been a couple of strange weeks since I last made an appearance on my blog. Only a few days ago while randomly walking outside I realized the trees were in bloom, Spring flowers everywhere to buy and I thought: "when did all of this happen?" Perhaps I was too clouded by my ouwn thoughts to sense that the beautiful sunny days were actually turning into a beautiful Spring.

 I got caught up in work, boredom, days of absurd grumpyness (if that is even a word) but also in moments of joy, day dream, and I lost myself in holding arms and got drunk on blissful thoughts. I decided to just take a break from the blogging world a bit and just live the present. 

To this day I am still trying to find balance between this whirlwind of feelings and hopefully I will be able to post regularly again. The truth is I missed taking photos and as soon as I found a great day where everything felt into place, I decided to do it. And it felt good. 

I am excited again as I am when I see lilac in bloom, oh can't wait for those days to come!
