2331 3

Remember this shirt I wore recently in a day when I was in no mood to play dress up? I decided to wear it here with a more feminine approach. And what screams feminine more than a skirt and some jewelry? So, here is how you can wear a oversized men's shirt and make it look sexy and cool! At least that is what I think and yes, I have to admit I felt really really good in it.

From time to time I get back to these colors which in my opinion blend in together smoothly, and from time to time I also go back to mixing prints, which is always so fun!
Also, I have to add that this is one of the two hats I bought in the thrift shop/food shop around the corner a few weeks ago. Isn't it adorable?

Hope you'll have a great Monday, I am already cursing it because it's 6 P.M. and falling asleep, because I watched the Golden Globes live the other night and for Romania that meant 3 AM to 6 AM (yes, I do stuff like that).

The edgy-chic girl

 Long time no see eh?
Well, to tell you the truth it took me some time to let the comfortable feeling sink in, the adjustment to a new neighborhood, a new apartment needs need a few days and I am now happy to say that I am ready for new beginnings!
Speaking of which, I just bought that lovely little jacket from an outlet; I have developed a little obsession with this type of jacket, that classy tweed texture that reminds me of Chanel, and now I can finally wear one with pride. I decided to wear it here with my leather pants and a simple pair of ankle boots with no heel to create an edgy cool look in a great contrast. Of course you can wear it with high-waisted circle/pencil skirts too.

Have a great Sunday guys!

Gems around my neck

I love necklaces, that is a fact, the bigger the better! I especially love the colorful, sparkly ones that beautifully covers my neck area like a piece of clothing, such as this one! The first time I laid my eyes on it I dreamed about it every night and even the moment I bought it I wore it for a whole day around the house wearing my hoodie and some leggings - charming outfit, no?
What I love most are the stones which resemble opals, with their amazing colorful iridescence. I can wear it in so many ways, with sweaters and basic white shirts and jeans, or leather skirts, but my favorite look has to be with a plain T-shirt, in that way you can turn it into something spectacular and create a unexpected mix.

Nothing exceeds like excess

car

While watching the second episode of this season's Downton Abbey, there was a point where the Crawley's (meaning a noble British family living in a ridiculously huge house) had to impress with a dinner party, decorations, candles, the finest glasses and so on. When everything was ready the Dowager Countess looked at the table and simply said " Nothing exceeds like excess" - and I thought "My God, how right you are!". I believe I've heard that expression before but only yesterday it hit me, while watching one of my favorite shows. I wish I could live in that era as an aristocrat, because poverty was not an option..
After this educative episode, I felt inspired and played once again with items that winked me and mix matched them as much as I could - with a reasonable taste. I wanted to show off my peacock earrings and I thought this was the perfect moment.
God, I love feeling like a Christmas tree sometimes! - I don't think that is a bad thing, not at all.

I shouldn't be wearing layers in the Summer heat, but today I felt creative and I put together an outfit of four pieces. Two skirts and two tops. I don't know how, but recently I am in a..strange mood; I look at some of my pieces in my wardrobe and they seem in my eyes to match together so well even if at first glance they don't, it's like a puzzle! Again, I had fun creating this look and I hope you like it too.

We invite you at a tea party!

tea2  Friday, was Mina's last day in town so we wanted to make a fuss out of it, so we decided to make a little tea party at the beautiful Infinitea. I haven't been there before, but I think I will go more often because the place simply enchanted me! The salons are so beautifully arranged, the furniture is old and the decorations in perfect balance with the place, but the minute you step into the back garden, you forget that you are in Bucharest, but in a piece of Heaven. Nature, fancy chairs, lovely atmosphere and of course delicious tea and cookies! We had a blast for sure, I am positive the pictures speak for themselves.
