While in Bucharest..

ior1

I've been away these past few days and I took a little break from blogging and everything else related to the Internet and I have to say, it felt quite good.
So while I was in Bucharest I managed to :

 1. See Jared Leto perform, loose my voice and went deaf for a few hours after the concert - it was energetic and amazing, yes!
2. Eat all kinds of sweets, from huge frappes to smoothies and cheesecakes.
3. Visit IOR park and saw a rat cutting our path - frightening moment indeed
4. Buy the top I am wearing because I realised these pants did not match anything from my wardrobe.
5. Realise that I am starting to miss less and less this city.

Don't get me wrong, I miss my friends over there and certain beautiful places, but to get to those places, you have to pass other "obstacles" so to say, like using the not so pretty subway and perhaps another bus, passing through creepy people and suffocating crowds, and all this hassle it's way too time consuming and certain parts of this city are just simply ugly.
I think I refused to see all of this before, but while living in Cluj for the past two years, my vision has changed and though I am not certain where I want to live for the rest of my life (if it were by me, I would just travel all around the world) my attraction for this place has diminished considerably.
But I will still visit it from time to time, naturally.

Delicious moments

While I was away in Bucharest for these past few days, I have seen once again Roger Waters performing The Wall live - amazing concert! - and in between seeing old friends and just having great times, I also met my blogger girlfriends whom I adore and missed!
So, I and Laura, Andreea, the Hearabouts girls, Silvia and Raluca drank lemonades, coffes, ate delicious high caloric cakes while having juicy conversations like girls usually do.
Aaaand as you read this I am probably on my way to the train station, departing with new fun memories.
 Until next time girls!

Being in Bucharest for these last few days I also managed to take some outfit photos with this skirt I have been wanting to wear since the day I got it. Also, that day I met Julie from The Lovely Darlings who is a very sweet girl and we had a great afternoon together sipping Pina Coladas and enjoying juicy conversations.
I've been so busy these days, meeting so many old and new people and I was so tired at the end of each day but filled with joy.
Now I have to prepare my departure, oh..night trips are not the best but when you travel almost 10 hours by train this is the best choice, for me at least.

On Victoria Avenue

I completely forgot about these photos I took during my few days in Bucharest. I was walking with a friend on Victoria Avenue, near the old Royal Palace, currently the National Museum of Art, a place so dear to me, probably one of my favorite from the city. It has so much history, this avenue, you cannot be amazed by the buildings while you walk it through.
My feet were so stiff after such long walks, even though those boots do not have such a big heel, I don't want to see them again in the near future..
Autumn is almost over even though I still step into dead leaves in great melancholy, I hear snow will come soon..oh..no..I'm not ready yet!

Tropical Autumn

I forgot that the weather in Bucharest is much more warmer that the rest of the country so as you can see, the leaves are still hanging on tree branches and I was only wearing a T-shirt..shocking indeed.
I met with an old friend of mine and we talked for hours and hours, nearly forgotten to ask her to take me these photos. Then, as we walked around my so familiar places which filled me with a some degree of melancholia, we ended up in my favorite pastry shop and we ate the wonders in the last two photos. I tell you..that cake served me as lunch and dinner for the whole day! Simply delicious. Tomorrow is another day for more delicious encounters!
Soon I will be getting ready for the Avanpremiere Gala (the reason why I came here in the first place) but more on that soon.. Stay with me darlings!

This is something I wore Wednesday evening when I was out with my mom for a quick bite and a delicious lemonade. Yesterday was our Graduation Gala, I am pleased that it went well and that I was amongst the first ones to present ( there were about 40 collections so the night was long) therefor I could watch the others collections, but unfortunately I don't have many photos, but hopefully I will get my hands on some to show you. I was so tired because of all the chaos going on there, I ran from one side to the other, I had to watch over my models and to be prepared for my entrance. It was quite nerve racking. But I am glad it is all over and now I can't believe I GRADUATED! Woohoo!

Urban Gypsy

I had so much fun creating this outfit! I started with the earrings (those fabulous H&M earrings!), I was initially thinking of a basic outfit and let them be the cherry on top, but I realized that would be too ordinary, so I turned my velvet skirt into a top, added a skirt, then a scarf instead of a belt, a necklace, and then some bracelets for more opulence. Soon after, I looked in the mirror and saw a some kind of gypsy girl and I loved it! Gosh, how I adore fashion and all the experiments that come with it!
