Spring 2014 favorites

missoni

This season there were a looot of beautiful collections presented and I barely managed to make this selection with pieces which I think will make a statement in the fashion industry. And these are looks that really suit me right now. I mean..the colors, the amazing prints, the designs and the styling is fantastic! Above it's Missoni, presenting wonderful textures and gorgeous color contrasts, modern designs and yet with a sprinkle of the '40s femininity.

  dolce gabbana

Dolce&Gabbana - always charming, always fabulous!

  jonathan saunders

Jonathan Saunders was a huge success! What I love most about this collection is the way he turned the sporty jackets and tops into feminine ones. The prints are more than beautiful! burberry

Burberry impressed me with the clean styling, the marvelous mixed prints and the gorgeous pencil skirts. miu miu

And isn't this the cutest collection since I don't know when? The Prada collection (which we all know is the mother of Miu Miu) resembles this one greatly, but I think this one is just so playful and adorable! I wonder if similar coats will be made, out there, by the "average" retailers so to say, when Spring arrives.. I doubt it though..

For the last few months I started to fall in love with this type of shoe of which I always thought to be boring. I mean, I was so into platforms, big huge chunky heels, cool designs and so on (don't get me wrong, I still love that type of shoe) but now I have taken a liking on the simple kind, the one which now I think is subtle, delicate, above all ..elegant! The slim heel, the absence of platform and the slightly pointy tip, they turn every outfit into a much more feminine one. They can be worn with both mid-calf skirts and mini dresses, a cute purse, flirty shirts and a pair of colorful leggings, oh the possibilities! And of course..a little bow makes them perfect! I already have two pairs in that fashion but I want more more more! (The beginning of an obsession perhaps?..)
I gathered these images in time, so I forgot where they are all from, sorry for that!

Atelier Exhibition + Giveaway winner!

gal1

I begun my day with a nice cup of coffee and a chocolate croissant ( yes, my obsession is still on) knowing that I will be late for Uni, but I had to enjoy my meal; breakfast is important! I arrived there and we begun to sort out photos and moodboards for our mini atelier exhibition, the way we artsy students do it at the end of each semester. It took us some hours and some injuries (one colleague got herself hammered on the hand, my own feet were devastated by my one-size-to-small shoes! - and they were not even heeled) but at the end we finished it.
I remember last year, it took us until 2 A.M to finish, it was ridiculous, so this time was quite a piece of cake.
Well, here are some photos with our work to brag on and....we really do hope you like it!
Thoughts?

Dreaming in glitter

Untitled-1

No outfit post today..same issues as always..
Howeveeeeer...I have this image dancing around my mind lately and that is of a party outfit, but an outfit perfect for the Winter Holidays.. and when I think of this, I think of glamour, of glitter and sequins, holographic prints even! So, I browsed around the Internet for inspiration and I find the best dresses on TopShop as you can see. These are my favorites (especially the black one from the right in the image above), now if I had a treasure chest (or two..okay, three) I would buy all of these and even more, but for now I am just happy staring at them. This activity really makes me feel cozy inside..Is that weird?
Anyway, tell which is your favorite! Or where would you wear them? Untitled-2 Untitled-3

See you soon and keep on dreaming of Christmas! Such little time left!

P.S. "The Hobbit" was an incredible experience! My heart was in my throat the entire time, go see it NOW!

Fall 2012 Wishlist

While browsing around Net-a-porter and Luisaviaroma, I found some awesome pieces for this upcoming season and even though I can't afford these items, not even if I sale my kidneys, I hope I will find something similar at some decent prices. Or maybe..custom made?
Anyway, onto this set..I know that skirt doesn't fit the collage, but just look at that incredible print and it has peplum! I could wear that even in winter with a faux fur coat.

  1.Kenzo coat
2.Thomas Maier dress
3.Gareth Pugh coat
4.Dolce&Gabbana brocade pants
5.Stella McCartney peplum skirt
6.Burberry Prorsum boots
7.Dolce&Gabbana bag - perfection!

Now, the next set is dedicated to burgundy color. I fell in love with this shade since last Fall and now I am considering adding more items to my wardrobe in this color.

1. Miu Miu heels
2.Alexander McQueen dress
 3.Haider Ackermann coat
4.Sonia by Sonia Ryckiel shirt
 5. Ballin ankle boots
6. 3.1 Phillip Lim top
7.Proenza Schouler bag - representing all of Autumn's colors in my opinion
8. Dolce&Gabbana earrings

And here are some statement jewelery for you to drool upon, if you are a fan of these, like I am. I have been obsessing over such pieces since last Spring and I need more more more!

 1. Valentino
2. Aurelie Bidermann earrings
 3. Tom Binns necklace
 4. Oscar de la Renta
 5. J. Crew
6. Oscar de la Renta earrings
7. Bottega Venetta
 8. Oscar de la Renta
 9. Kenneth Jay Lane earrings
10. Frey Wille bracelet - I am crazy about these, in every color and size!

So, peplum, leather, velvet, burgundy, brocade, basic black boots (they could be in brown, I don't mind) cloche coat, statement necklaces, and to be honest there are other stuff that are coming through my mind but I better cool down.. I could get sick of so many beautiful things!
