Happy Monday everyone, and sorry for the late post this morning. I haven't been feeling too great, and we have been spending the majority of our time packing up our apartment, so it's been busy around here!

If there's one thing I can never resist once the holiday season rolls around, it's a festive reindeer sweater. I'm loving how cute and cozy this SheInside sweater is! I have tried to center all of my posts this week around outfits that are casual, yet still stylish enough to wear for Thanksgiving dinner. If your family is anything like mine, there will definitely be pictures taken, so you are going to want to choose something that is both cute and comfortable. If you haven't noticed, oversized sweaters are a must for me...especially on Thanksgiving, because I always need to hide the fact that I've eaten way too much, while still looking done up. ;]

I mentioned yesterday that I was getting into the Holiday mood lately, and the same is true of my wardrobe. I have been leaning towards more festive colors... like green sweaters and red lips. I also have to give Emily a quick shout out for introducing me to these amazing over the knee boots! It's hard to find an OTK boot that doesn't look too... you know... but the thick heel on these boots make them quite a bit classier, in my opinion, and a million times easier to walk in. :]

Yesterday morning when H and I went outside to take pictures, it suddenly dawned on me that Christmas is just weeks away. [5 weeks to be precise.] And with Black Friday right around the corner, I thought I would share with you my first Holiday Gift Guide. This week's Holiday Gift Guide is dedicated solely to great Stocking Stuffer ideas for her. [And hopefully H is reading this and will catch a hint. ;] Personally, opening up stockings is my favorite part about Christmas morning, and I would be more than happy to find any [or all] of these fabulous gifts in my own stocking. Can you believe that Thanksgiving is a mere 2 weeks away?? H and I were talking about it this morning and I truly could not believe it! Our local Target always puts up candy canes and ornaments all over the parking lot around Christmas time, but as I drove past yesterday, I saw that they were already up! So exciting! [I'm also excited for mine and H's 1 year anniversary coming up this weekend. :]

Anyway, I'm in love with the weather and with this time of year, mainly for sweater weather... and scarf weather... and coat weather... and boot weather... Seriously I just can not get enough!

Patriotic

Happy Memorial Day! The patriotic holidays are definitely my favorite! I may or may not [but definitely do] get really excited and go a bit overboard with the red, white, and blue outfits. And I even incorporated my favorite summer drink into these pictures. ;]  I'm excited for a day full of family, food, and swimming! As much as I hate summer, I love summer barbecues!

And we are grateful for the opportunity we have to celebrate Memorial Day, and all of the men and women who have sacrificed their lives for our freedom.
