Last day in town

By the time you read this I am surely on my way back to Cluj for my last year at University.

Yup, last year I will ever be a student, because I don't think I will ever have the patience to start another school from scratch; this means I will - or rather want - to live it at the fullest!

These are the last set of photos from my last day back home, wearing something fitted for September, something quite casual but with an ounce of chicness. Because you have to say your goodbyes like a diva, ha!

The Wonders at Steilmann

 

 The other day I was asked to style an outfit for the event that will take place this Saturday, meaning a fashion show , so together with the other lovely bloggers from Cluj we will be there but alas not running down the catwalk (thankfully!) Each one of us was given a certain brand and we were able to play with clothes just the way we like to. My whole outfit is from Steilmann, a brand perfect for those who prefer casual chic clothing but also for those who prefer a classic cut. 

 I chose to wear what I love most: colors and prints! These pieces make a perfect match, and of course, the two are in trend this season, right? 

 Zilele trecute am fost rugata impreuna cu ceilalti bloggeri de moda din Cluj sa cream o tinuta pentru prezentarea de moda ce va avea loc sambata in Iulius Mall Cluj la care va veni si Andreea Raicu ca invitat special! Fiecare din noi a avut cate un brand de unde putea sa isi compuna o tinuta dupa bunul plac. Tinuta mea este creata de la Steilmann, un brand rafinat de care sigur ati auzit, unde gasiti piese vestimentare atat casual-chic cat si cele cu o croiala clasica, office ceea ce face magazinul sa fie foarte versatil pentru bunul gust al multor persoane. 

 Bineinteles ca am ales sa port ceea ce iubesc cel mai mult: imprimeul si culoarea! Am ales asadar acest blazer dintr-un material natural si foarte placut cu un imprimeu delicios, asortat cu o pereche de pantaloni de o culoare intensa! Nu puteam sa ma hotarasc la ce imprimeu sa ma opresc sau ce culori sa adopt, chiar ai de unde alege! Daca ne uitam cu atentie, observam ca toate acestea sunt in tendinte sezonul acesta. ;) 

Ah si..sa nu uitam pantofii care se imbina perfect cu tinuta prin acea pata de neon-oranj, numai la Il Passo.

 

 Va astept in numar cat mai mare sambata de la ora 18:00!

Silver touches

 

 I wish sometimes I could find a fantastic place for me to take my photos, instead of parking lots or the usual parks..but in my little town I have to make use of what I have at best. I wish I could have time to make stories based on my looks, but I don't have a photographer around the clock and that makes it harder. Oh , my frustrations.. 

These days my mood changes from total happiness to deep melancholy and even to bitchy queen. I guess Autumn struck me hard. And the music of Lana Del Rey, which I've been listening to repeatedly, fits perfectly to my state right now.

 Enough sentiment - just gaze at my retro-ish inspired outfit composed from my mother's old sweater - it has silver threads, wohoo! - and my self made girlie wool skirt, glazed with some bling blings and maybe you'll feel as fabulous as I did in the hour I took the photos (and a bit bitchy, yeah)

Dot, dot , dot...

 

 Found this peplum top in a second hand shop; it waited patiently for me to see it and make one of those anime-esque faces, with a smile so big it deforms my face, hearts in my eyes and constantly saying: "kawaiiiii!!!" (If you are a anime/manga fan you know what I mean) I was thinking over and over again how I could wear it and after realizing that I don't own anything that matches it (apart from a skirt), I remember having these white jeans which I am pretty sure were not worn in the last..year. Wow. 

So, happily I went out, took photos, went for a walk and here I am showing this gorgeous top to you. I brag too much, but I guess every blogger, actually every fashion blogger is a bragger the minute he/she clicks "Post" each and everytime...

Il Passo Spring 2012 Collection Launch

A few days ago I was invited to the launch of the bright new collection of Il Passo shoes, a luxurious Romanian brand, that I am actually wearing in these photos, at the Artmark Galleries.
There where the shoes, waiting to be admired, a buffet and delicious cakes, too hot inside and lots of people, but it's nice to socialize and be a part of these fashionable events.
My favorite pair is the white one with sparkly stones from the last photo. Glamorous! Which is yours?

Dior, Marni and the '50s Housewife

When I got my hands on this Marni + H&M jacket, I immediately got transported back into the 1950s fashion - which of course was created by the genius mind of Christian Dior, and I put together this look. I received the skirt a few days ago from MiniPrix, and it has the perfect shape and length, it's faux leather and you know I really wanted for a long time a leather skirt, so imagine my joy. Therefor, that jacket is a perfect addition for a complete '50s inspired look.
And it's finally warmer and I am enjoying these sunny and warm days as much as I can, yey for Spring! Hopefully it will last!

Step into your magical shoes...from Il Passo!

Here I am wearing one pair of magical silver shoes I was given by Il Passo, in our collaboration for this season's holidays.
I made two looks: one for the day, and another for the evening, especially for New Year's Eve with the same pair of shoes, so you can see their versatility. The metallic shine might give them sophisticated look but their classical design make them easy to wear.
I chose a basic outfit, shirt, leather pants and a masculine inspired blazer to keep it simple so they can shine! What do you say?









These shoes are perfect for an elegant occasion, either you are at a fancy dinner, or at a party, you can never go wrong with these shoes. They are my perfect choice to celebrate New Year's Eve, glamorous and modern! I chose a little black dress, a small vintage purse and of course velvet gloves for that touch of luxury.
