Hidden treasures.

camp8 8

We start this week with a fresh new post and hopefully it will turn your Monday into a more pleasant one, because we all know how much we "enjoy" Mondays..

No, I haven't found a hidden treasure (although that would be nice), we do not live in a pirate story the last time I checked, but I did find a cool garden that belongs to a huge mansion somewhere in this little town. I wish I could've taken more photos of the house but it was fully covered in plants of all sorts, but you can get an idea of how big it is from one of the pictures below. I wouldn't mind one bit to be able to live there.
What caught my attention was the lovely garden from the main entrance and I wished I could've stopped time, enter the place and explore it as much as I could, and of course take more photos!
Yes, yes, my obsession with gardens and flowers, that will never change, I'm afraid.

And how about my cute, feminine blouse? I searched since forever an off-the-shoulder top like this and as I read on the tag, I found out this was some kind of a dress for children between ages 10-12 ?! Oh well, it fits me just fine as well!

 Have a wonderful week, people!

He loves me, he loves me not

I love taking photos in gardens among flowers or nature, so the minute I layed my eyes on this dress, I already made up a scenario in my head and I thought the botanical garden is a great place to go. It's not the garden of Versailles and I wished there were more flowers in bloom, but it was good enough.
I am hunter of big prints as you know, specialized in floral ones, so the moment I say those cute daisies on this dress, it was instant love! I like the transparency and the fact that it is daring and delicate at the same time. In a word: feminine!
Oh and yes, the retro '50s silhouette is the cherry on top, as the word goes.

Well I wonder..

..I constantly wonder how nature amazes me with the beauty of flowers, rocks, rivers, birds and did I mention flowers? I can never get enough of their colors and their scent and their structure. I wish Spring could last forever! that's is no good, I will still be dreaming of Autumn's colors and its fresh cold evenings.
I was here reunited with my whole family celebrating Easter, and lucky for me I got to take photos in my aunt's almost spooky garden, and you know me..the mysterious places, the better photos!

The Secret Garden

gbb2

I don't know how many of you have seen the film "The Secret Garden" or read the book, but ever since I saw it I became fascinated with everything that meant garden, I am talking about the spectacular ones in which you can get lost, especially those which resemble a labyrinth, with flowers and huge trees everywhere. This garden is not so secret, it's actually the city's Botanical Garden, but I like the feeling that it gives me, of content and it's so quiet and nice.
This is where I spent my birthday (which was yesterday, and I thank you all for your kind wishes you left me on Facebook!) when all my plans ruined. It was a pleasant day nonetheless.
I seriously need to go there more often and take photos or just read a book surrounded by the birds chitter.
