Pink Obsessed

Pink Gingham: J. Crew Factory // Navy Blouse: Forever 21 [similar] // Skirt: Corilynn // Coat: Elle via Kohl's // Boots: Hunter // Bracelet: J. Crew // Watch: Target // Wallet: Tory Burch

I purchased this fabulous Corilynn anchor skirt a couple of months ago, and it has been on constant rotation! I know I've already styled it a few different times on the blog already, but I just can't get enough of it. [That may be a first for me. ;] The fit is amazing, and it doesn't feel too fancy to wear on a normal day. [See how I styled it HERE and HERE.] I'm also so excited to be co-hosting a Link Up with one of my good blogger friends, Little Miss Fashion Queen!  The theme this week is JACKETS, and we'd love to see how you style yours. So make sure you check out her blog and link up with us below!!

Here are the rules for the Link-Up:

1. Please use Link-up etiquette and follow your host and co-host of the week.

2. Please provide a link to Little Miss Monday Link-up in your post, or use the button on your blog.

3. Please comment on the link-up.

Chevron Sequins

Top: Chico's [similar] // Skirt: Banana Republic // Tights: Apt 9 via Kohl's // Boots: Hunter // Earrings: c/o InPink // Necklace: c/o Bip and Bop // Tassel Bracelet: c/o Bip and Bop // Watch: Target

It's official! My first snow fall here in Idaho! It's been snowing pretty much nonstop the past few days, and if I'm being honest, I kind of love it! I know I have only been here a week, but I am completely falling in love with Idaho. [Sorry to my family back in AZ! Don't hate me! ;] Rexburg looks so beautiful during the winter, and H and I love taking random drives and admiring the cute little houses covered in snow. My mindset moving up here was very much "Once we are done with school, we are getting ourselves out of here." But like I said, I am currently obsessed with Idaho, so my mind is quickly changing!

Anyway, on to my outfit! I fell in love with this Banana Republic skirt a few weeks ago, and couldn't resist buying it. Unfortunately it is currently sold out, but I will keep an eye out and let you know when it is back in stock! Thanks for stopping by!

Layered...

Polka Dot Top: c/o Kiki La'Rue // Striped Top: Old Navy // Pants: J. Crew Factory // Boots: Hunter [Crimson Pink] // Bracelet: c/o InPink // Earrings: c/o InPink // Gloves: old, Similar, Similar // Necklace: c/o oNecklace

I've mentioned before that navy and pink is one of my favorite color combos, and clearly I was not joking! I love this polka dot tunic from Kiki La'Rue, because it is so versatile. It can be dressed down with some leggings and boots, or dressed up with a skirt and heels. I am also getting a ton of wear out of this Elle coat that I picked up on a whim at Kohl's a few weeks ago! The white goes with just about everything, I love the length of it, and it's at a great price point!

I hope you all are having a great week!

Think Pink

Top: Loft // Jeans: Current/Elliott // Coat: Old Navy [sale!] // Boots: Hunter // Earrings: c/o InPink // Gloves: Anthropologie

Happy Monday!! H and I are finally in Idaho, and we are loving it so far! Our cute little apartment is to die for...we love it so much! [Stay tuned for a home tour!!] The snow is so cold, but nothing that a little snuggling and hot cocoa can't fix. :] These pictures were taken in Provo, UT, where we stopped to stay the night during our loooong drive. Of course I couldn't resist this pink wall, so I made H pull over to snap a few pics! [Don't mind the messy hair. This is how my hair has been for the past 5 days. Oops... ;]

Hope you all had a great weekend, and thanks for stopping by...

Anchored [Take 2]

Sweater: c/o Kiki La'Rue // Pants: J. Crew Factory // Boots: Hunter [Crimson Pink, though the color looks way different online] // Wallet: Tory Burch // Earrings: c/o InPink // Bracelet: c/o InPink

Can I just say TGIF? For some reason this week has gone by so slow, and yet so fast at the same time. Maybe it's because it's my last week of work... which is exciting, but is also very heart breaking. For those of you who don't know, I am a nanny to 3 adorable kiddos, who just happen to be my nieces and nephew. H and I are both very close to our families, so moving away from all of them is going to be very hard for us. [Especially since I'm such a cry baby already! Ha!] Anyway, I just wanted to include one of the pictures of my cute niece Abigail [practically my child] who I get to spend all of my mornings with while the other 2 kids are at school. We do everything together and she always follows me around and copies whatever I do. I love it so much! H has had this past week off of work, so Abigail has been with us while we take our pictures mid-day, and she kept trying to be in the pictures with me... SO CUTE!

Wow, enough with my rambling! I mentioned a few days ago how much I was loving Kiki La'Rue, but I have to rave again. I am truly in love with all of their clothes, especially this anchor sweater. I know that the whole anchor trend has kind of died down, but I am just starting to fall in love with it! What do you think?

Bloopers...

*UPDATE* I posted this picture on Instagram this morning and had tons of questions about my outfit, so I thought I would share with all of you!
Top: ASOS [it just went out of stock! // SIMILAR] // Sweater: c/o Aeropostale // Phone Case: J. Crew Factory [sale!!]

Sweater: Target [favorite!! wearing a size Large to be oversized.] // Pants: c/o Aeropostale [sale!] // Boots: Hunter [Crismon Pink] // Bag: Tory Burch // Necklace: c/o Mariposa Medley

I posted a picture to Instagram a few days ago, laughing at how the majority of our outfit pictures turned out whilst in Idaho. We were seriously freezing the first day, because it was in the 30s and incredibly windy. We attempted these pictures for only a few minutes, before changing our minds and running back inside. I couldn't help but laugh at how most of them turned out because I was shivering the entire time, so I had to share these "bloopers" with all of you! Oh, the life of a fashion blogger... ;]

Let's Be Bold

Happy Thursday! Today is very overcast and it is supposed to rain, so obviously I couldn't be more excited to pull out my rain boots! [I would live in these if I could. H says they look like I'm going to work in cow manure, but he clearly doesn't understand fashion. ;] I know it looks sunny in these pictures, but that's because these were actually taken a few days ago [when it wasn't raining] because I knew it was supposed to rain this week, and I wanted an excuse to wear the Hunters. I am loving bold colors right now, and I will definitely be incorporating them into my fall wardrobe.

Oh, and for those of you who have asked, yes I have been wearing my extensions lately. I am getting very impatient waiting for my hair to grow out!

Jacket: Banana Republic // Jeans: Cotton On // Boots: Hunter // Beanie: J. Crew Factory

Also, J. Crew Factory is having a huge sale right now! 50% off of everything, and they have some fabulous New Arrivals that are on sale too!! So excited! I have a thing for bright coats, so I may have to pick up THIS ONE while it's at such a great price! Here are a few of my favorites:

Day 17: Rainy Day + Flaws

So I came across THIS post the other day, and absolutely loved it. She talks about not trying to fit the mold; owning your flaws, and not trying to hide them. And I decided that I needed to share some of my flaws with you today. One of my favorite things is fashion blogs. One of my least favorite things is when the fashion bloggers are completely unrelatable and make it seem like their lives are perfect.
Guess what? My life isn't perfect and neither am I. [Surprise, surprise.]

Some of the flaws that I might typically try to hide from you:
-I leave my clothes everywhere. My apartment is almost never clean because it's littered with clothes and shoes. I hate hanging clothes up, and it really is a huge chore for me.
-Speaking of clothes, I get really stressed out when it comes to choosing outfits. I swear, at least once a week, I am on the verge of tears because I don't know what to wear.
-I can be super lazy.
-I watch way too much TV. I think it has to do with the fact that I'm so lazy. Or maybe I'm lazy because I'd rather just sit and watch TV.
-I get really frustrated with H when he can't read my mind. My best girl friends can always read my mind, so why can't he? [It's like he's a man or something... ;]
-I do not like animals. At all. [I truly despise cats.] And I get really mad when I see people treat their pets like humans. [I'm not trying to offend anyone!]
-I'm impatient. When I want something done, I want it done now
-I'm on my phone way too much. Social media has become a huge part of my life, and it's sad how many opportunities I'm sure I miss out on, because my eyes are glued to my phone.
-I'm judgmental, which is really sad, because I hate when girls are judgmental.
-I'm an over-tipper. [Some may not think this is a flaw, but I'm pretty sure H does. ;] H always gives me the check so I can add the tip, because it drives me crazy when people don't tip well.
-When I'm at the grocery store and I decide I don't want something after all, I put it back on the closest shelf I see. I justify it by telling H that if I didn't put things in the wrong place, the employees wouldn't have anything to do. [Anyone that works at a grocery store is probably hating me right now! Sorry! :]
-I don't/can't eat healthy. I've tried, and yet somehow I always end up eating oatmeal cream pies/zebra cakes/oreos in the end. I love salad, and I love fruits and vegetables, but I also have a major sweet tooth that can't be tamed.
-Oh, and I also don't work out very often.
-I take waaaaaaay too many pictures on my phone. [Sometimes while driving?!] But mostly they are of this cute girl, which makes me think maybe it's not a flaw at all. I mean, just look at her!! I may or may not be obsessed.

[And yes, she does the whole hand on hip thing. We call it her "fashion pose" and I love it.]

ANYWAY. This outfit wasn't technically part of the 30 day challenge, but I don't really care. It's only day 17 and already I am ready to wear some other clothes. I'm still going to call it day 17 though. I just may end up with a couple of extra items at the end. Oops! :]

H and I woke up yesterday morning and were happily surprised at the sound of rain. Rain is my absolute favorite and I jumped out of bed to get dressed with my Hunter rain boots. I wish it rained every day!
