Leather overalls and loafers might be one of the most unexpected and spontaneous combinations I've tried so far, but why not? And thank to the gods of black-and-white goodness, these loafers come in a combo  80% my wardrobe approves of, as well as with a price tag of 80% discount, something which my wallet also approves of. Leder-Overalls und Mokassins? Wer hätte das geglaubt? Aber warum denn nicht? Das ist vielleicht eine der verrücktesten Kombinationen, die ich bisher getragen habe. Diese Mokassins kommen in einer Kombination der Farben, die mit 80% meiner Garderobe zusammenpasst und auch kamen sie mit 80% Rabatt, was perfekt zu meinem Geldbeutel passt. Super Kauf! Diese kleinen und ich werden für immer beste Freunde sein. Versprochen.

¿Mocasines y petos? ¿Quién lo hubiese pensado? Pero, ¿por qué no? Esa es tal vez una de las combinaciones más locas que se me han ocurrido, pero no está mal. Estos mocasines vienen en una combinación de colores que va de la mano con el 80% de ropa en mi armario y también vienen con el 80% de rebaja, lo que también le va perfecto a mi bolsillo. ¡Una excelente compra! Estos pequeños y yo seremos mejores amigos por vida. De eso no hay duda.

One must wonder if a woman can really have too many shoes, bags, and coats. Recently, I added this Cos coat to my ever-growing coat collection and I am simply loving how long, stylish, and warm it is. 

This time I went for an elegant and lady-like look, which is not something you see so often in this place, but I think it works.

Man muss sich fragen, ob eine Frau zu viele Taschen, Schuhe und auch Mäntel haben kann. Neulich habe ich diesen Mantel zu meiner wachsenden Kollektion hinzugefügt und ich liebe einfach wie lang, warm und stilvoll er ist. 

Dieses Mal trage ich ihn auf einer eleganten und weiblichen Art, etwas, das man hier nicht oft sieht, aber ich glaube es funktioniert.

Puede una mujer tener demasiados zapatos, bolsos y abrigos? Lo dudo. Recientemente agregué este abrigo de Cos a mi colección que crece cada vez más y simplemente me encanta lo largo, calientito y estiloso que es.

Esta vez he optado por un look más elegante y femenino, algo que no veís mucho por aquí, pero creo que funciona.

I can't believe how lucky I was when I got two months ago these Theyskens Theory/Theory (there was a recent name change of the label) Taylor boots on sale for 50% off. And it was not only luck because of the price, but because they were sold out everywhere for a very long time in all sizes. However, I had the idea of contacting Theory and asking if they had any left on my size and to my surprise the answer was "yes". 

For so long I had been looking for them and thinking of millions of ways to pair them, but wearing them with skirts is the ideal way to do it, because of the chunky heel and the long shaft, which elongates your legs. I couldn't be happier with this purchase.

On a different note, where has winter gone? It seems it has no plans to arrive, at least here in Germany. I am not complaining too much, though.

Ich kann kaum glauben, dass ich endlich diese Theyskens Theory Taylor Booties jetzt trage, da sie seit einer langen Zeit überall ausverkauft sind. Ich habe sie für 50% Rabatt seit circa 2 Monaten gekauft und ich hatte die tolle Idee, Theory zu schreiben um zu fragen, ob es vielleicht ein Paar in meiner Größe gibt. Die Antwort war "ja" und ihr könnt euch vorstellen, wie glücklich ich war.

Seit so lang habe ich danach gesucht, dass ich mir tausende Arte vorgestellt habe, wie ich sie tragen könnte. Mit Röcken glaube ich, dass sie am Besten aussehen, weil der Blockabsatz und der lange Schaft die Beinen verlängern. Ich bin einfach sehr zufrieden mit diesem Kauf.

Übrigens, weißt jemand wo der Winter ist? Es scheint so, als ob er nicht mehr kommen will. Zumindest hier in Bayern ist es so, obwohl ich mich nicht zu viel deswegen beschwere.

Aun no puedo creer mi suerte cuando hace dos meses pude comprar estas botas de Theyskens Theory con el 50% de descuento. Y no ha sido suerte sólo por el precio, pero porque están agotadas en todas las tallas en todos lados desde hace mucho tiempo. Conseguí comprarlas porque tuve la genial idea de contactar Theory y preguntar si de casualidad había algún par en mi talla. Para mi sorpresa, la respuesta fue "sí". Ya os podéis imaginar lo feliz que estaba.

Por tanto tiempo las busqué, que me imaginé mil formas de llevarlas, pero con faldas es definitivamente la forma ideal por lo largas que son, lo cual alarga las piernas. En fin, estoy muy contenta con esta compra.

Por cierto, sabe alguien dónde está el invierno? Parece que no tiene planeado venir, o al menos aquí en Alemania, aunque no me estoy quejando demasiado de ello.

During the last seasons, runways have been a display of prints of all sorts. Therefore, print clashing has been quite a common thing to do and my outfit today is all about that. While I have mentioned before that prints are not really my cup of tea, you all know that I love pinstripes, so why not mix different ones together, especially if you have several garments with such a print?

This has been done before, but I implemented my own elements to it to make it my style, and a bit sportier, casual, and laid back.

In den letzten Saisons sind Prints der heißeste Trend auf dem Laufsteg gewesen. Deswegen ist das Zusammentreffen verschiedener Prints eine verbreitete Gewohnheit. 

Wie ich vorher erwähnt habe, bin ich eigentlich kein Fan von Prints, aber wie manche von euch schon wissen, bin ich süchtig nach Nadelstreifen und dieses Mal habe ich ein bisschen damit experimentiert. 

Die Idee ist nichts Neues, aber ich habe meine eigenen Elemente eingebracht und meinen eigenen Stil durch ein lässiges, sportliches Outfit ausgedrückt.

Durante las últimas temporadas, los desfiles de moda se han centrado en todo tipo de estampados. Por ello, experimentar un poco y mezclarlos ha sido una tendencia y el conjunto de hoy se trata de ello. Como ya os he mencionado, no soy muy fanática de los estampados, pero muchas ya sabéis que adoro las rayas diplomáticas a la Stella McCartney. Y por qué no mezclar distintas prendas de rayas diplomáticas con estampados distintos, en especial si poseo varias prendas así?

Ésto no es nada innovativo, pero he implementado los elementos propios de mi estilo convirtiendo el conjunto en algo casual y cómodo, con un toque interesante.

Today's outfit is all about the long flowy coat that goes with anything, but looks perfect with a pair of sneakers or slip ons for running errands or walking around the city. Normally, I would balance the proportion of the coat with a pair of skinnies, but this time I wanted to play with a shape adding even more volume with a pair of wide legged trousers. Roomy and all, the outfit is super comfty, so I am not complaining.

And talking about long, roomy coats, I think I got 4(!) already. A tad too many, but they are just so versatile and warm and perfect for everyday use, that I just can't have enough of them.

Das heutige Outfit handelt sich um einen übergroßen, langen Mantel, der zu allem passt, aber er sieht  mit Turnschuhen perfekt aus, wenn man hin und her der Stadt läuft. Normalerweise hätte ich mit Skinny-Hosen kombiniert, aber dieses Mal wollte ich mit den Proportionen des Mantels spielen und deswegen trage ich weite Hose, welche dem Outfit Volumen hinzufügt. Beschweren darf ich nicht, da das Outfit sehr bequem ist.

Übrigens habe ich schon 4(!) lang Oversized-Mäntel. Zu viel, wenn ihr mich fragt, aber sie sind so lässig und warm, dass man sie jeden tag tragen kann.

Mi outfit de hoy es todo acerca de este abrigo largo y sobredimensionado que va con todo, pero se ve perfecto con zapatillas deportivas para ir de compras por la ciudad muy cómoda. Normalmente lo hubiese combinado con pitillo para crear un balance con las proporciones del abrigo, pero esta vez quería jugar con una forma y agregar volumen y por eso llevo puestos pantalones anchos. En fin, no me quejo porque el conjunto es muy cómodo.

Hablando de abrigos largos y sobredimensionados, ya tengo 4(!) de ellos, demasiados si me preguntáis, pero es que son tan versátiles y calientitos para llevarlos a diario, simplemente me encantan!

As 2013 comes to an end, 2014 is a new chance to improve many aspects of one's life and this is what resolutions are about. Fashionwise, my resolution is to definitely buy more timeless, classic wardrobe staples and stick less to trends, which are often a waste of money and resources. For instance, this blazer from the Isabel Marant Collection for H&M and my beloved Hope Grand Sweater are two of these atemporary pieces that I will always wear and can combine in a thousand different ways.

Another aspect I want to improve is to minimize my wardrobe and buy less. You know? Like have and buy  only what is necessary, which is what compliments fashion resolution #1. That being said, I am not the kind of person who compulsively buys stuff, since I take for months or even weeks(when the things I consider buying are already sold out) to make up my mind whether to buy a piece or not, still, there are a few things I could live without in my wardrobe, and I don't want to repeat mistakes.

2013 ist fast vorbei und das neue Jahr ist eine neue Chance viele Aspekten des Lebens zu verbessern. Dafür sind die Jahresvorsätze und modeweise habe ich mich dazu entschieden, mehrere klassische und zeitlose Teile zu kaufen. Auch will ich Trends weniger folgen, da sie oft eine Geld- und eine Ressourcenverschwendung sind. Zum Beispiel ist dieser Blazer von der Isabel Marant Kollektion für H&M und dieser Pulli von Hope 2 Stücke, die ich immer  gerne tragen werde und die ich in vielen Arten kombinieren kann.

Ein anderer Aspekt, den ich verbessern möchte, ist, dass ich meine Garderobe minimieren möchte. Ich will nur kaufen, was ich brauche, obwohl ich nicht kaufsüchtig bin, sondern im Gegenteil: Ich überlege Wochenlang und manchmal sogar Monatelang, ob ich ein gewissenes Stück kaufe und wenn ich mich endlich dazu entscheide, es zu kaufen, ist das meistens ausverkauft. Trotzdem gibt es in meiner Garderobe, Sachen, die ich nicht mehr trage und ich möchte die selben Fehler nicht mehr wiederholen.

Ya se termina el 2013 y se aproxima cada vez más el 2014, lo cual es una nueva oportunidad de cambiar positivamente todos los aspectos de nuestras vidas. En el sentido de la moda, una de mis resoluciones es comprar más piezas atemporales y clásicas y seguir menos las tendencias cada temporada, lo cual a menudo representa un desperdicio de dinero y recursos. Este blazer de la colección de Isabel Marant para H&M y mi jersey favorito de Hope son dos ejemplos de estas piezas que siempre usaré y que puedo combinar en miles de formas.

Otro aspecto que quisiera mejorar es el de minimizar mi armario y comprar menos, es decir sólo lo necesario. Dicho ésto, yo no soy el tipo de persona que compra compulsivamente, en lo contrario, pienso por semanas o hasta meses en comprar una pieza determinada y generalmente, ya se han agotado cuando me decido por comprarla. A pesar de ésto, existen piezas en mi armario que no uso en lo absoluto y no quiero seguir repitiendo errores.
