How crazy was it to be able to lay your hands on this collection? More than lucky, I was an early bird up at 6 am the day it launched and I was 200% ready to get the things I wanted shortly before it was all available online, refreshing the site second after second two minutes before 10am. And so, within the first two minutes I was able to purchase everything, which wasn't the luck of most people since the site began to crash after the first 4 minutes and didn't work for hours. Suddenly, after it finally began to work, everything was sold out, and it was most probably all sold out within the first 20 minutes. Crazy stuff.
While I absolutely loved the infamous fringed boots, I decided against getting them, because I already have a similar pair: my Lazios, which I still love. A golden rule in my fashion book is to never buy things that are too similar to each other for the sake of providing variety to your wardrobe.
At the start, when I first heard about this collaboration, I was unsure and most of all pessimistic, since I have not really been a fan of Isabel Marant's two previous collections. But as soon as pictures of the lookbook started to leak, I saw that it was a great collection with hybrids of pieces of past collections, which make each piece still unique and with the Isabel Marant signature.
So these two pieces, i.e. the leather pants with laces and the fluffy wool cardigan were my two favourite pieces and as soon as I saw them, I knew they belonged together, though there are endless ways to wear both separately. The cardigan is incredibly warm and I'd say it's more like a coat which will keep me warm this winter.

Es war praktisch unmöglich, etwas von der Isabel Marant Kollektion zu bekommen. Ich kann ehrlich nicht sagen, dass ich Glück dabei hatte, da ich um 6 Uhr morgens früh am Tag der Veröffentlichung der Kollektion aufgestanden bin und ich war 200% dazu bereits, das, was ich wollte zu bekommen. Ich glaube ich habe dafür mindestens jede Sekunde die Seite neu geladen seit der ersten Sekunde, als die Kollektion online verfügbar wurde. Deswegen habe ich 2 Minuten später alles bekommen, was ich wollte. Aber wie ihr alle schon wisst, war das nicht der Fall für die meisten Leute, da die Seite schon 4 Minuten später, nicht mehr funktioniert hat. Stunden später ging es dann wieder, aber es war alles schon weg, und alles wurde vielleicht innerhalb der ersten 20 Minuten ausverkauft. Verrückt.
Ich habe mir überlegt, die Fransen-Stiefeletten zu kaufen, aber ich habe mich dagegen entschieden, da ich schon ein relativ ähnliches Paar habe: Meine Lazio Stiefel, die ich immer noch liebe. Eine goldene Regel in meinem Modebuch ist, dass man niemals Sachen kaufen sollte, die einander zu ähnlich sind, damit man mehr Vielfalt in seiner Garderobe hat.
Anfangs, als ich von dieser Kollaboration gehört habe, war ich mir nicht sicher, weil mir die letzten 2 Kollektionen von Isabel Marant überhaupt nicht gefallen haben. Aber sobald ich die Bilder von dem Lookbook gesehen habe, habe ich sofort gewusst, dass sie eine tolle Kollektion sein würde. Sie besteht aus einer Mischung von Stücken von älteren Kollektionen, wobei jedes Stück einzigartig ist und mit der Marant Signature.
Diese Lederhose mit Schüren und den flauschigen Cardi, waren die Stücke, die mir am meisten von dieser Kollektion gefallen haben und als ich sie sofort gesehen habe, wusste ich, dass sie zusammen passten, obwohl sie getrennt in vielen Arten kombiniert werden können. Der Cardi ist sehr warm, fast wie ein Mantel und ich werde ihn diesen Winter oft tragen.
Habt ihr es geschafft, etwas zu kaufen? Und wenn, was habt ihr ergattert?

Comprar algo de esta colección fue casi imposible, una locura. Más que suerte, creo que fue el hecho que ya estaba preparada para el ajetreo y me desperté muy temprano el día en que la colección estaría disponible online. Si os digo que refrescaba la página cada segundo, no miento y lo hacía minutos antes de que la colección estuviera disponible. Debido a mi determinación logré comprar todo lo que tenía en mente dos minutos tras que la colección estuviera disponible, pero esa no fue la suerte de la mayoría de chicas que como yo, quería mucho tener al menos algo de la colección, ya que, justo 4-5 minutos después, el sitio ya no funcionaba y no lo hizo hasta horas más tarde. Cuando al fin funcionaba de nuevo, todo ya estaba agotado y probablemente ésto ya había sucedido 20 minutos después del lanzamiento. Increíble.
Al principio tenía en mente comprar las botas con flecos, pero decidí mejor no comprarlas ya que ya tengo un par relativamente similar, mis botas Lazio, las cuales adoro todavía. Una regla de oro en mi libro de moda es no comprar prendas o zapatos demasiado parecidos con el fin de tener más variedad en el armario.
Debo confesaros que, inicialmente, pensé que esta colección no me iba a gustar debido a que las dos últimas colecciones de Isabel Marant no me gustaron para nada. Pero cuando ví las fotos de la colección que se publicaron en varias revistas de moda, debo decir que me encantó y que sabía que iba ser una gran colección con una mezcla de elementos de prendas y zapatos de colecciónes pasadas, pero siempre diferentes y únicas y siempre con la firma de Marant en ellos.
Estos pantalones y el abrigo fueron las dos prendas que más me gustaron y cuando las ví, supe que pertenecían juntas. El abrigo es muy calientito y me acompanará mucho este invierno.
