Outfit | Hope

Wearing: Hope Grand Sweater, Vero Moda Leather Pants (similar here, here, here, here, here and here), Balenciaga Cut Out Boots(cheaper options herehere and here), Proenza Schouler Bag, and Ray-Ban Sunnies

EN

Today I am keeping things simple, because I treated myself a couple of weeks ago with the most beautiful sweater that was ever made, which has been sported by the likes of Elin Kling. It is  a statement piece alone, so it doesn't need much. How amazing is the structure of this Hope sweater? I seriously can't get over it.

DE

Outfit | When in doubt, wear black

Wearing: H&M New Icons Biker Leather Jacket,(similar here, here, here, and here), Zara Draped Shirt and Skort, Balenciaga Cut Out Boots(cheaper options here, here, and here), Proenza Schouler Bag, and Ray-Ban Sunnies

Let's talk about black. First off, I loved wearing black from head to toe since I was a teenager (was never a goth or anything like that, though), not because it makes you look slimmer(or perhaps yes), but because it makes you look instantly elegant and effortlessly chic. I think the key to make total black looks never look boring is mixing different textures and silhouettes.
I have never really been a fan of colours and as most of you who follow my blog for a longer time know that I keep my looks always monochromatic with neutral shades.
As I always say, black is not simply a colour, it is an attitude, and if you know how to wear it, you can make a statement with it. So yeah, black doesn't have to be boring. x

Inspiration | Mishmash of Seasons

Sorry for the lack of updates and for the silence during the last week. I am infinitely inspired and have so many outfits to show you, but it hasn't been possible for us to make pictures in the last days, due to my husband releasing something he has been working on for a very long time. I guess this kind of thing happens to all bloggers at some point, and it surely is a one time kinda thing, or at least very rarely. Anyhow, expect a lot of outfit posts coming up in the next weeks.

I am also very picky when it comes to posting non-outfit pictures and feel I have to come up with unique content to show you. I don't know how you feel about non-outfit posts, but to me they always feel like fillers, but hey, that might be just me. Do let me know if you would like me to make more posts like this one or what kind of posts you would like to see more here aside from outfit posts.

Today I decided to give you a little dosis of inspiration: the pictures, editorials, collections and streetstyle that is mostly inspiring me at the moment. Tumblr and Pinterest are so good for that (you can follow me here on Tumblr and here on Pinterest, if you like). It's all a mish mash of my favourite current collections(Basike, and as you can see I have joined the Philophile bandwagon and I am still obsessed with Ghesquieres last collection for Balenciaga), of my favourite upcoming fall/winter collections(Proenza Schouler, which is my absolute favourite, and Céline, Stella McCartney, Chloé, also Balenciaga), and next year's resort collections (Alexander Wang, Theyskens Theory, and Tibi). Also, you can quite see how obsessed I am with the infamous Azzedine Alaia lace up sandals sported by my top style icon, Barbara Martelo. And last, but not least, how amazing is the new Zara fall campaign? It's maybe a bit too good and it might be their best collection so far.

Outfit | Grunge

I am wearing a Proenza Schouler PS11 Mini "Classic" Shoulder Bag, Balenciaga Derby Cut Out Buckle Booties (cheaper options: a great one here, and here, here, here, and here), H&M Boyfriend Shorts(similar here and here ) and Belt, a Zara Plaid Draped Blouse(similar hereherehere, here, and here), and Ray-Ban Wayfarers

EN

It was as if the gods of metallic details conspired this once so that three different items on my outfit match and coincide: my shoes, my bag, and my belt. But it is merely coincidental.
Let's talk about the  bag  dreams are made of, and God only knows I've been wanting it since the first day I laid my eyes on it. If you ask me, investing on a timeless designer bag at least once in a lifetime is a must for every woman or at least it is better than buying a thousand bags of inferior quality and trendy designs. I simply love the timelessness, the  minimalist vibes, and metallic details on this one and I prefer it a million times to any Chanel quilted bag(too flashy for my taste, excepting the non-quilted Boy bag) even if what I am saying is a sacrilege for many
Today's outfit is very casual and appears even a bit careless, but that was the intention, since the booties scream grunge and pairing it with a plaid shirt was simply a no-brainer. Hope you like it. x

DE
