Love to fall in love

 

 You know, I easily fall in love with certain clothing items when I see them hanging beautifully but lonely in a shop or with jewelry and I do restrain myself to not buy them all, but I do make a selection every now and then, hoping they still exist and on an impulse I just let myself be devoured by their beauty. I felt that way with these shoes I am wearing here, with the sandals I received yesterday, with a certain pair of turquoise colored earrings I saw a few hours ago, a 1950's vintage dress way too expensive for me right now [sigh].. and I can't help but wonder how powerful this feeling is for..objects. I think it's safe to say I am addicted to it. And boy, I do get goosebumps!

Beauty and the Beast

 

 The beast is on my T-shirt - actually my boyfriend's T-shirt which I gave him as a present for his birthday. I printed one of his digital drawings that he seemed keen about, and for some reason I decided to wear it today. I thought the chromatic was perfect with the dress underneath and my makeup ( I usually do my makeup first and then dress accordingly, weird) And again layers over layers, fun but I want to dress more lightly! It's the end of March for Heaven's sake! 

Oh well, got to be patient I guess. 

Okay, now I am off in the kitchen to cook some delicious stuff ( turning into the next Martha Stewart perhaps?..)

The "oh-so-chic" dress!

 

 Isn't this dress adorable? I loved it the instant I saw it on TinaR website, mainly because of that shade of green and the shape of the skirt - so young and fun! And the fact that it is made out of two different fabrics which work together so amazing and the skirt is made out of faux leather? That is something that stuck into my mind. 

 I received this dress yesterday and I couldn't wait to take some photos in it and also with my new pair of killer heels which make me feel like a queen (oh yea...I have a huge grin on my face now)

 Nu-i asa ca rochia este adorabila? Rochiile TinaR sunt mereu chic si pentru toate varstele, asta mi-a placut mereu la ei, iar de rochia aceasta pot sa spun ca m-am indragostit! Mai ales de nuanta aceea de verde si de croiala ei joviala. Dar cel mai mult mi-a atras atentia partea de jos care este realizata din piele falsa, este usoara si are o textura superba; mi se pare ca merge de minune cu partea de sus. 

Rochia este disponibila pe site-ul TinaR, doar online dar ghiciti ce! In perioada februarie-martie, pentru comenzile ce depasesc 50 RON, aveti reducere de 10% de la mine ! Trebuie doar sa introduceti codul "FRUMU" in casuta de voucher inainte de a finaliza comanda. Simplu!

I'm thinking of a holiday

 

 

 

   

Seeing these photos makes me think of a country-side getaway for some reason, speaking of which.. we're almost at the end of July (when did that happen?) and I still haven't done anything significant this Summer (speaking in terms of vacation), so yesterday I started thinking of where to go, what to explore, which scenery to choose, and maybe soon I'll be on my way for a field trip... In any way, I can hardly wait to get out of the city!

Before the Storm

 

Yesterday I had the occasion to visit the H&M showroom and take a glance at the Fall collection which will hit stores in..way too many months from now - I will probably dream about it day and night until then. So this is what I wore, I wanted to show you my outfit first. We took the photos when the sun was still in the sky but soon after that the clouds gathered and thank God, as soon as I got home it started pouring.. in a hardcore fashion.

When Tina R asked me to come by their store and choose one of their products, I immediately set my eyes in this green top. Why, you may ask, well, because of that lace upper part; I am crazy about lace so naturally this blouse has my name all over it. I paired it here with my vintage pleated skirt and I put a silky scarf around my head, for a exotic-meets-vintage look. I kind of like those little scarfs as headbands, I want to buy about fifty more of them. Opinions?

Roaring Twenties

There is something about the '20s that attracts me in a special way, no matter what small obsession I may have for other past decades in certain moments, I am constantly being drawn to that era, an era with nonchalant attitude, with freedom of movement, with jazz, with laughter without being constrained by society or manners.
When TINA R contacted me for a collaboration and suggested me this dress, imagine how I immediately built up a story in time. I felt dressed like this as if I were a character in "Midnight in Paris" or a dancer at the cabaret in "Chicago". Needless to say those are two of my favorite films and this dress is like ripped from that period of time ; the low waist, the elegance, the fringes.. I paired it with a self made headband, added some pearls and tried to make finger-waves in my hair (it's soooo complicated) and this is the result of which I am quite proud.
