Marzipan Doll

 

 I finally received my new skirt from Sheinside! I was so excited about it and couldn't wait to see it in my hands. Even though it pretty much seems appropiate to wear it in Spring, I actually think it goes for all seasons, so I paired it up with the sweater I got last year from the same brand and it felt like a perfect match!

 After I looked at the photos, the first thing that came to my mind was something sweet. Something like marshmallows or marzipan figurines - it's natural that a sweet addict would think that. 

So, I was twirling around like that in a very gloomy weather while people were staring and I couldn't care less. The confidence that certain clothes can give you is magical.

This skirt entered in my top 5 skirt list - yes I have lists like that..

The floral pencil skirt - a jewel

 

 I will always say that a pencil skirt with a floral print (the bigger the better) and in color, is a statement piece in any wardrobe.

 Looking at these photos makes me think that I need to find more skirts of this kind and start making a collection, haha.

That being said, I am taking off because I am already running late to a meeting.

Visiting Oradea

 

 It's been a while since I made an appearance here and let's just say it was a slow transition back to Cluj. I spent a few days alone there, just me and my cat and unfortunately she didn't master the art of photography, so taking photos was out of the question.

After making the apartment squeeky-clean, my lovely flatmates soon appeared and we decided to take a trip to almost-nearby Oradea, near the border with Hungary. I knew it was an interesting city and I wanted to visit it since last Spring, but I never thought I could find so many beautiful, amazing buildings which were onece upon a time, palaces. 

If you are a Art Nouveau fanatic like myself, Oradea is the place to visit. It has so many buildings from that period, a few of them were restored and now they look like gingerbread houses! We did not have time to explore everything I wanted to, but there is always a next time. 

 All I can say is that it appears to be a lovely city, with many many many old houses that I love (I don't think I have ever seen that many, not even in Cluj) and I spent a lovely day despite the cloudy weather and forgetting the fact that I lost the cute pink sweater (and irreplaceable) I had with me. Oh well..

 

 We even got a chance to visit the Zoo and took dozens of photos of meerkats and felines. Naturally.

An afternoon stroll

 

 It doesn't feel much like September these days, especially at noon; only in the evenings and mornings (since I am not a morning person I can only take my mom's words for granted) you can feel the Autumn chill which is quite lovely. I only began to think about my fall wardrobe, but the minute I go back in Cluj, I will start looking for some cute boots - ones without heel this time - and also some light cardigans, wohooo can't wait! 

This is what I wore yesterday when I met with a friend of mine to grab a bite and some coffee, and I realise now that I am wearing my mom's old clothes which I took custody of, isn't that funny? 

That happens when you get bored by your own clothes.

Weekend look: feminine and chic!

 

 Saturday was all about femininity, chicness and color! Since it was a warm sunny day, my spirit lift up and wanted to wear something nice to make me feel even more lively - oh, I've had the most strange days this past week; you know that feeling when you wish to shut down completely and go somewhere far away to gather yourself? Sometimes it's like that and sometimes it's alright. But "alright" isn't enough, is it? 

 By the time you read this I am probably somewhere outside the city relaxing at a barbecue, hopefully the weather is with us!

Summer in the city

 

 Seems lately I can't get enough of dresses, especially colorful ones, and why should I since it's Summer and so hot that I can't stand wearing anything else. I like to feel as comfortable as possible during this season and I also like to wear the right dosage of color - which means all of them at once! 

So, this was me, a lovely rainbow on a Saturday afternoon, walking around the city with no concern whatsoever. It's not always I feel as carefree as nowadays.
