Sunset Avenue

 

 I wasn't even sure I wanted to publish these photos since I never intended to make them for the blog, they were just for the sake of that beautiful light, but I am quite fond of the result and after some hesitation I decided to show them to the world. So it took me about two days to edit the photos and to decide to post them, because somehow I never found the proper time to really finish the task. Sometimes, the passion for blogging diminishes and I start concentrating on other things; but after a while I begin to miss all the activity that comes with it and I start focusing again. Do you ever feel like that? It's strange...sometimes I loose my motivation and I want to end it, but I immediately reconsider, so in the end, I am not at all near that point. I know I will regret that choice.
 Enough gloomy talks, I'll leave you with the photos and I hope you'll like them as much as I do!

The floral pencil skirt - a jewel

 

 I will always say that a pencil skirt with a floral print (the bigger the better) and in color, is a statement piece in any wardrobe.

 Looking at these photos makes me think that I need to find more skirts of this kind and start making a collection, haha.

That being said, I am taking off because I am already running late to a meeting.

Summer is not my favorite..

 

 I think I complained before about taking photos in 1000 degrees Celsius in the middle of the day. If not, I am telling you again that I find it to be a pain. I can't even look at the camera properly. I could not even look at the photos properly because I was so anxious to get it over already. Only during the weekends I can take photos in the evening because of my job, and that is something I have to live with for now.

 I would much reather swim or stay inside the house when Hell decides to come on the surface; but I do miss taking photos and I was really excited by this skirt I found in a thrift shop recently and I wanted to show it to the world; that at least calmed my nerves. And a giant size frappe as well afterwards. And a very cold shower once I got home.

Told you I need a getaway from the city didn't I?

Well, I am not in search of a fantastic scenario, I can play video games for that, but I am not that fond of them. Or I could try to daydream until I lose my mind to frustration.

But instead I go to little places of wilderness and think about life during a wonderful sunset.

And planning a vacation. A real one. One that does not include unicorns or mermaids (although that would be fun)..

I am so fond of this cute little top I got from TBDress recently! I mean, I just love the print and the flowy style, just perfect for insanely hot days and of course what else than floral print? That will never change.

One step outside the city

 I am tired of the city. I really need an escapade somewhere in the middle of nature, to see the woods, smell fresh air, feel the cool breeze of the mountain, gather flowers and berries to my own heart's content. I have to make this possible soon or I will go nuts, I am sure most of you felt this at a certain point in your life. As much as I am a city girl, I just need to disconnect from time to time.
Finding this little abandoned corner of nature about three minutes from where I live in Cluj, near the edge of the city, made me think more about the idea of an escapade; this idea was strongly endorsed by the beautiful landscapes I saw when I travelled back in my hometown and smelled the green air of nature while the wind was strongly blowing through my hair.

Summer in the city

 

 Seems lately I can't get enough of dresses, especially colorful ones, and why should I since it's Summer and so hot that I can't stand wearing anything else. I like to feel as comfortable as possible during this season and I also like to wear the right dosage of color - which means all of them at once! 

So, this was me, a lovely rainbow on a Saturday afternoon, walking around the city with no concern whatsoever. It's not always I feel as carefree as nowadays.

Lock the simple moments

 

 There's this small bridge in Cluj where not long ago couples started to put on lockets as a symbol of their love. Sure, it's not the locket bridge from Paris, but it's cute enough and I adore the idea, I always did. After snipping Mojitos in the rain, we walked through the almost empty park and decided to take some photos around the area before the sun completely went down. Afterward we ate king size cakes to end the evening in a delicious note. 

All in all lovely evenings like these (when the Summer sun doesn't melt you in 2 seconds) are the ones I enjoy the most. Simple, casual, light.
