Maxi love

 

 I don't know what I love most: maxi skirts or maxi dresses.

 The fact is that a dress is easier to wear since you don't have to consider what to wear on the upper part of your body, sometimes that can be a hassle, sometimes it can be fun to mix and match. Another fact is that I have about..two maxi skirts and I feel the need to add more to my wardrobe, because...why not? This one - which was actually a dress but I cut it and another one I made myself long a go. 

I never seemed to find a proper one, because: 

 1. They are either too short and look ridiculous. 

2. They are too transparent and of poor quality. 

 Can't have them all in this fast-fashion industry, right? 

 And it seems that lately I have a thing for pink, which is weird..

Summer is not my favorite..

 

 I think I complained before about taking photos in 1000 degrees Celsius in the middle of the day. If not, I am telling you again that I find it to be a pain. I can't even look at the camera properly. I could not even look at the photos properly because I was so anxious to get it over already. Only during the weekends I can take photos in the evening because of my job, and that is something I have to live with for now.

 I would much reather swim or stay inside the house when Hell decides to come on the surface; but I do miss taking photos and I was really excited by this skirt I found in a thrift shop recently and I wanted to show it to the world; that at least calmed my nerves. And a giant size frappe as well afterwards. And a very cold shower once I got home.

I seriously have worn it almost every day this past week, and I'm not that sorry about it! It's the perfect color, the perfect loose fit, and it's on sale! If you were wondering, today we had a very failed attempt at taking outfit pictures. Sometimes the snow looks pretty in pictures, and other times it just doesn't quite work. Like today. ;] I loved this outfit though, so I wanted to share the details with you! I found this Rebecca Minkoff tote on sale last week, and with a few other coupons I had, it ended up being more than 50% off and I could not pass it up! I'm glad I didn't because it really is one of the most beautiful bags I've ever seen! [I found mine HERE, but unfortunately it is no longer on sale!]

Snow is my accessory

How do you like my new sweater? The first thing that attracted me about it was the cute texture of those dots. Then, there was the color, a soft shade of dirty pink , not too bright and not too gloomy, just a perfect balance. Paired with the right shade of blue and you get a fabulous result! And hey, even my umbrella matched both in color and print, so to say.

Friday is here together with a gloomy weather, that means stay inside the house, work for school and cease to exist.
