 My love for Baroque inspired prints started way back, and only recently I managed to find a beautiful sweater at Sheinside.com in these gorgeous bold colors. It keeps me warm and it's so fluffy and not to mention gorgeous! 

Now, the skirt, this is actually a funny story: I went to my local "everything-you-need shop" around the corner to buy some bread and somehow, the owner decided to improvise a kind of thrift shop as well. So, I stood there about half an hour trying on things and ended up buying this skirt and two hats, plus the bread! 

The kind of things that happen in this country...

Needles to say, the prices were ridiculously cheap.

My name is Candy

 

 I do sure feel like a candy whenever I dress up in certain shades of pink, or minty green, baby blue, lilac or pale yellow...

I want to talk about the skirt I am wearing here, it is from an older collection from H&M and I remembered how much I wanted to buy it back then but I never seemed to have the amount of money needed. As soon as my dreams of my affair with it were gone, so was the collection from all stores! Aaaaaaand, just a few days ago, as I was looking rather bored through the skirts section in a thrift shop I saw it there with the specific heavenly glow and instantly grabbed it and ran to the dressing room (my size!) and almost bouncing up and down to pay for it (and it was ridiculously cheap, I am not even going to say it)

 I am still wondering how this amazing, flawless skirt ended up in a thrift shop; why would anyone give it away?! (perhaps it was stolen?) In any case, it's my treasure now! 

The other day I found this wonderful pair of sunglasses, that reminded me of the Prada Baroque ones - which I love dearly - but these don't cost as much, naturally. I think I will be living in them for the rest of the Summer. 

 Oh and about the shoes, here's a funny story: I bought them like five years ago for my prom, but then I found another pair more suiting with the dress and I gave up on these...until now! I am telling you I never wore them (outside the house) in all these years and now I just love them! Funny how our perspectives change in time right?

This is probably my last winter outfit as days are really getting warmer and sunny over here in Freilassing/Salzburg. The temperature yesterday was 18°C! So that means that there has been a temperature change of about 30°C from one week to the other! So while the weather is getting warmer and the snow is melting I though I could have the last chance to wear this skirt. I never was into the baroque trend, but this skirt I love! Can't wait to show you more spring-ish outfits in the next days. Hope you all have an awesome weekend! x

Éste probablemente será mi último outfit invernal ya que los días aquí en Freilassing/Salzburgo se están poniendo muy muy cálidos y soleados. La temperatura ayer era de 18°C! Eso significa que hubo un cambio de temperatura de aproximadamente 30°C de una semana a la otra! Mientras el clima cambia y se pone más cálido y la nieve se derrite, pensé en mi último chance de ponerme esta falda. Nunca me gustó mucho la tendencia barroca, pero esta falda me encanta! No puedo esperar a mostraros outfits más primaverales en los próximos días. Espero tengáis un feliz fin de semana!

Das ist vielleicht mein letztes Winter-Outfit, da die Tagen hier in Freilassing/Salzburg viel wärmer und sonniger werden. Die Temperatur gestern war 18°C! Das heisst, dass die Temperatur in den letzet Wochen um die 30°C gestiegen ist. Weil es wärmer wird und der Schnee schmiltz, habe ich mir gedacht, dass das die letzte Chance ist um diesen Baroque-Rock zu tragen. Ich war nie vom Baroque-Trend begeistert, aber diesen Rock liebe ich! Ich kann kaum darauf warten, um euch Frühlingsoutfits in den nächsten Tagen anzuzeigen. Ich wünsche euch ein ganz tolles Wochenende!

The Fantasy Blazer

 

 I told you about how I found a blazer a few weeks ago in a thrift store.. well, after some altering, here it is, and I still need to work a bit on it. I was so amazed when I saw that embroidery..or..whatever it is; the golden threads drawn on a perfect black velvet..it's like something from my Fashion Dreamland! 

And the reason I dressed up so lightly, is because it got warmer - which honestly was very surprising. 

I am already late for my haircut appointment!

These photos to me are like Lust, making me commit a sin, it's like they are inviting me into their world of luxury..of opulence.. of glory. Somehow this Baroque trend makes me feel as if I am at home. I would kill to own something so glamorous as these dresses, with all those golden ornaments and fabulous lace and not to forget the statement jewelery! 

Why wasn't I born in that era, as a noblewoman?..
