Stand out in this monochrome Winter.

 We all know how Winter can be, cold, empty, grey and sad sometimes. Especially when the snow is starting to melt and all you see is dirt. Seeing all this, I get tired of monochrome shades, people dressed in black and white and I need color as much as I need water.
 After I saw this coat, the very last one in store, I began to wonder how well will it fit my wardrobe. The shade of red is just delicious, the cut is simple and easy-going and the fabric is soft and light. So people, a little dosage of color doesn't hurt.
Now, I couldn't just let it stand out on it's own, naturally I had to add a contrast to go along beautifully.
Obviously, a color freak will never rest.

 Ending the month by buying a coat on sale seems a pretty good deal to me. And since I love to brag, here are some stuff I took home with me during this sale season. And I still ahve some items on my list. But a new month has started, a new project may arrive, one last exam to take and maybe old wishes to fulfill. I need to keep myself busy, otherwise the temptations (of shopping of course) become way too high!

   

 Zara flare pants (from an outlet) - can't wait for Spring and Summer to wear them!

   

 A very very very cute vintage bag. The leather is so soft and amazing!

   

 One no name necklace found in a local shop. Simply elegant and didn't cost a fortune.

 Sheinside blazer. Don't you just love the print? I am even more more fascinated by the silky fabric.

Round and around we go

 

 When I first saw this type of coat HERE, I instantly melted and thought to myself " I really need this in my life NOW!" The truth is I've always dreamt of such a silhouette, and as much as I searched for a coat with this design, I was never satisfied. Until one day.. 

 The coat is made by Potocaliu, a lovely new Romanian brand by Cristina Bucur. For this coar I chose a bright vegetal green (even though in the pictures looks different) and let me tell you, I would like one in all the colors in the world! I love the shape, I love the fabric, I love the feeling I get when I strut among people, I love the elegance and the femininity of it...to me, it's just the perfect coat! 

So, sorry Andreea, for having similar outerwear and yet again, thank you for letting me know about this brand! ;)

The enchanted coat

 

 In my sheep coat again, which used to be my mother's, I honestly feel like a very important woman that everybody should pay attention to and bow before me while wearing it (you know how I secretly wish that) It's like enchanted, when I take it off nobody looks in my direction anymore, that is a very amusing thing. These were taken while Winter still reigned in my hometown, now I am back in Cluj and there is no trace of snow here (wohoo!) so I can wear heels more easily and enjoy the Spring-like breeze - maybe this is why I feel more energetic since I got here. Interesting.

Simple casual and slightly boring

Let me explain the title. As you can see this is not my usual kind outfit, no heels, no bling bling, not much femininity. I found myself sometimes okay dressed like this, but the soon I see myself in photos, I feel so boring, after all I just blend in with others and I don't really like that. But I had to walk a lot that day and I thought eh, let's shoot some photos. I am not sure why I posted them though..

 What are your thoughts about plain casual outfits? Sometimes I just have this urge of throwing away all my pants and plain tops and buy only dresses and crazy printed stuff. Maybe I should do that. Rethink my wardrobe.

 In other news...I have to pack, I am heading home for a few days, in the middle of Winter part three..oh boy.

Today I...

 

 I just love those jeans and I can't get enough of that cut, but I have to or I'll ruin them in this weather. I walked a lot today in search of a place to shoot, my feet were tired and wet, my hair got frizzy, I was cold and I got moody. Winter sucks for photos, that's the truth! 

I went today to get the photos from my project, (can't wait to make a selection and post them here) and I sat at the pastry shop eating a chocolate croissant (someone's gonna get fat soon); it was just a delicious moment! Those kind of moments that fit in your life perfectly.

Now I am working on some details, so stay tuned for news.

Call me Grey

 

 Today I opted for neutral greys, don't ask me why, my mood isn't that down and the fact that I felt some warm Spring air through my lungs usually makes me throw on some color, but not today. I wanted to stay "calm" so to say, but I compensated with that sparkly necklace (which I could wear it with anything, even pajamas!) 

I said on my Twitter that I won't be too active on the blog because exams are approaching and I need to finish my projects which are time consuming (I literally feel that sleeping now is a waste of time!) so excuse my less frequent appearances.

My usual photographer is in the same position as I am so he cannot indulge me at this moment, this time I appealed at my colleague for these shots, which I thank her dearly!
