White Coat Wardrobe Guest Post

Over the weekend, I posted this picture on Instagram, asking what you thought about this H&M faux fur vest. I really liked it, but H was not so sure about it. Most of you encouraged me to get it, and so I did, and I'm really excited about it. An outfit post on this look will be coming soon!

Hey everyone! My name is Steph and I write a blog called White Coat Wardrobe! I'm so excited to be working with Victoria today! I have been following her blog since the beginning, and seeing her fearless sense of style and self encouraged me to put my own outfit ideas out there. I am a Physician Assistant Student, and I am currently in the third month of my clinical year. School and rotations keep me super busy, and outfit planning has been a great creative outlet for me!

My style represents a modest, working woman who is not afraid of color or current trends! I live on student loan money, so my style choices are also very budget-conscious. I believe in building a wardrobe filled with versatile pieces that speak to you! Personal style should be an expression of YOUR personality, not necessarily what is popular or cool with everyone!

I also write about my clinical experiences and the trials and tribulations that come with the hectic schedule of graduate school. I love meeting new people through this wonderful world of blogging, so I hope that you will stop by and say "hey!" and don't forget to follow along via Bloglovin!! I'm Kahana from A Beautiful Life! I'm so excited to be guest posting my very first time for Victoria today! I am a huge fan of her blog,  impeccable style, & infectious amazing personality that shines through on every post! 

I started my blog about 6 months ago when I was married {1/2/13}. It began as a life & style blog documenting our newlywed life & incorporating some small fashion posts. I have always been an avid fashion blog reader and about 2 months ago decided to take the plunge and add in more fashion/ style posts. I have a huge love for fashion, accessories, and clothing! This was taking a huge risk for me! I have always admired so many fashion bloggers and their amazing style. It's always nerve wracking to put yourself out to the world as well as your fashion choices! However, I have loved every minute of it. I have loved meeting new blogger friends and have felt so much support from people who have followed me! This is only the beginning & I can't wait to see where this road leads me!

1. I would classify my style as feminine, preppy, and classic! I like to take some risk especially when it comes to pattern mixing :)

Don't you just love meeting new bloggers? I know I do! Anyway, on to today's post. This may be my favorite outfit to date. There's just something about a feminine dress that I can't help but fall in love with. My sister actually bought it at the Down East outlet for $5, can you believe that? And then she passed it along to me, and I'm ecstatic about it! Oh, and isn't this necklace just to die for? I've always loved the fan fringe necklaces, but never loved any of the color combinations until I saw this one!

[For those of you who asked, I've been curling my hair with my straightener. My curling iron died after my hair burning incident! Let me know if you'd like a tutorial!]

Day 6: Rainy Day

Today I have another guest post for you from another new blog, Live Chicly!

Hi, I'm KaLeena and I write the blog Live Chicly, a fashion and lifestyle blog. I started blogging because I missed having a creative outlet where I could share my love for fashion and lifestyle ideas. My style is inspired by Audrey Hepburn, Jackie O, and Coco Chanel, with a little bit of whimsy thrown in.

As far as my personal life, I currently live in Kansas City where my fiance lives, but grew up in Ohio and spent the majority of my life there. I'm so excited to be planning my Ohio wedding next July and I keep my readers updated with all the fun planning on Wedding Wednesdays. By day I work as an Executive Director at a healthcare company, and a lot of the style on my blog is focused on business casual ensembles.

Other obsessions include shoes, travel (which I do lots of for both business and pleasure), chocolate (my family owns a candy store), DIY projects, and a really good facial.

A few of you have asked questions about this 30x30 challenge. I chose 30 pieces of clothing and shoes to recreate. I didn't include jewelry/sunglasses/purses in this challenge, because I felt like they would take up too much space. Though I have to admit, I did cheat a little bit and pull out my Hunters this weekend during the rain. But how could I not? I look for every excuse to pull these babies out. They are definitely my favorite thing in my closet. ;]

Day One + A Dash of Gold

Well, today is Day 1 of my 30x30 Challenge and I'm so excited! This weekend, H and I went through and reorganized our whole closet, I got rid of even more clothes, and I picked out my 30 pieces for the challenge. The Statement Necklace: Adding a necklace to another wise simple outfit to jazz it up? I can totally handle that!

The Jean Vest:  By far my favorite trend because since its farrrrr too hot to wear my jean jacket but a vest? I can totally rock that. Summer trend WIN!
