Meet me at the playground

im9 8

Surprise, surprise! A fairy came over night and blessed me with super long hair and boy, was I amazed! Joke aside, these pretty long locks are actually hair extensions and this is my first time trying them on. At first, I wanted to wear them straight, but I realised that my hair is too short and cut too straight, so the hair extensions didn't blend in that well, so I thought curling them is the best option for me.
I was so surprised after I put them on, I had long hair before, but not this long and never with so much volume!

My hair extensions are from Irresistible Me, they have two lines, the Silky Touch, which are more budget friendly and the Royal Remy that are designed to last longer because of the silicone oil that protects them from heat or styling products. Mine are Royal Remy, in color Light Red, they are 18 inches and 200 grams. The best thing about this brand is that you can customize the length and weight which is quite cool and of course they are made from natural human hair and believe me when I say they are super silky and wonderful to wear and style!
They come in ten pieces which is more than enough to cover your head and create volume and I didn't even felt it was necessary to wear them all, so I left behind about two or three wefts.

And here are some pictures with my curled hair without the extensions

Quite the difference right?
The color is an almost match, I really don't mind that they are a slightly different shade of red towards the ends, I think it makes them look quite interesting.
I personally love them and can't wait to wear them again!

Electric colors

I missed wearing bright colors in broad day light! Now that Summer is willing to stay, it's time to wear my flowy maxi dresses (I think I have a obsession with them this season, I already bought 4 in the past weeks and this one is on its way too).
If it looks like I just stepped out of the hair salon, well, that is true! It was about time to refresh my hair color and boy was I inspired to wear that dress, because it matches my hair perfectly! Also, I love the way my hair is styled, I never want to wash it again! I think, never in my life, has it been that straight. Ever. Well, that's what good styling products and a wonderful straightener can do for any type of hair.

The weekend is almost here, so have a great one guys!

I've stepped into the dark side

Oh yes, my bright red hair has cooled down and turned into a burgundy shade (or wild cherry if you want). It was about time I changed it, even though I wanted a lighter shade for about three months.. more like a rusty color, the temperatures outside made me chose this hue instead, and you know what? I am super happy with it! It was quite a shock to see my hair this dark, and I will probably miss my crazy red in time, but after three years you have this bitter-sweet feeling of change. In the sunlight it's still red, but in a certain light it looks purple! Crazy.
We took these photos up on a rooftop, near a restaurant called Havana, it has this amazing view over the whole city from every angle, it's just beautiful! I said "I have to take some photos here!"
It's finally Friday, yohooo! Make the best of it  lovelies.

This morning I strongly sensed the smell of mellow grapes from my window and the fresh Autumnal air and I thought: "Finally!" It's sunny, warm, just perfect, my melancholy is coming back to me and I can't wait to b rapped up in nostalgic feelings which I can't or don't want to control.
Okay, enough about my romance with a cold season that most of people hate; about the outfit: I am wearing here a pair of thrifted pants, which my boyfriend called "pajama pants", but I find them to be very cute, like strawberries! And my mother's old top I snatched from the bottom of her closet paired with my necklace I used to wore two thousand years ago at my 8th grade prom. I adore the glitter! Soon, I will be on my way to resolve some University stuff and I will be riding long-hour trains, so excuse me if I will be absenting too much..

Introducing Dahlia's magical dresses!

dhl5
Let me introduce you to this wonderful lace dress I have received from DAHLIA, a British brand started in 2000 by two wonderful fun girls! When I was contacted by them, I got very excited , because I knew about the brand, and I've always craved for their clothing; so I was excited for any kind of collaboration. As soon as I received this dress, I imagined a green scenery, a field, a forest, anything that was not urban related, because it is so fun and yet romantic to walk around with a special someone and gaze the sunset on a picnic. That is what this dress inspired me to do.

My pale skin doesn't stand a chance against the sun, and even though I am partially tanned on my arms, you can't notice it, of course, and to be honest I prefer it that way, so yes, I hate getting a tan, I seriously do not love the way my skin looks in darker shades, and to imagine my face brown-ish together with my red hair.. ugh - horror! Yesterday I went thrifting and I found some goodies (including the bag in this post), and the weather was (don't stare in wonder) - chilly! Yes, wind..a bit of rain..clouds everywhere, so no heat, and for a person like me who doesn't have the need to lay in the sun or swim in a pool, it was ideal. Today is part two of shopping, yepiii!
