Olive or Pistachio?

lop1

Not sure exactly what color this blazer is..it looks like a pastel olive but then again also like a soft pistachio green.. If you remember this particular blazer, I bought it a while ago in a second hand store and it was huuuuge. And I really mean it! After some altering I managed to make it to fit my size and I am really pleased with it, because it goes with so many things (including my hair color) and it is made out of a soft wool and it was perfect for a chilly windy day of this transition season (if there is such a thing).
Speaking of which, I know this is not fashion related but I want to make a change, at least in my diet, and it will take me a great deal of effort and possibly some yelling and smashing plates against the wall since I will be on a "no-sugar diet" - that is Hell for me. I am writing this here hoping I will remind myself of its importance.
But tell me..have you ever stick through a detox/weight loss/healthy diet and be pleased with yourself?
I am curious of how this works.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend guys! lop6 lop5 lop2 lop3 lop4d lop7

Temperley London SS 2013

temperley london2

If last season Burberry awed me with velvet skirts and a dazzling color palette , this time it was Temperley London's turn to amaze me with her designs. It was one collection I admired entirely since the beginning of Fashion Week this season; with every piece I kept on "awww"-ing and felt my heart beating a little faster. So congratulations to Alice Temperley for making me feel thus!

This one is simply outstanding! I just adore the transparencies, and the romantic motifs and the bold red and the soft blue. A truly great collection for Spring/Summer!

What do you say ?

P.S. Tonight I will be on my way to my hometown for another 10 days or so, then back in Cluj for the rest of Autumn! Yeehaaa! (We packed all of our belongings in our temporary apartment here and cleaned the whole thing for hours!)

The days are getting colder and colder and we all have to take our most heavy coats out and endure - and it's not even winter yet - the frozen air. It's this transitory season, when you easily catch a flu ( luckily I am safe for now), the trees are completely asleep, the fog creeps you out and the city turns even grayer.
Soon I will post pictures I took at the Gala Avanpremiere, a fashion show where several Romanian designers presented their collections. Stay tuned!

London Spring 2012 Favorites

Let me express my excitement after watching live and looking again at this wonderful, perfect collection from Burberry!

I think..by far it's the best collection of all Fashion Week I have seen so far. Mainly because it just resonates with me and I can see myself in those girls shoes and clothes. The colors are simply marvelous, the tribal or ethnic details are perfect and the beads at the sandals stripes gave me a great inspiration for next summer. I also loved the length of the skirts, the short jackets and the baaags! Delicious!

I also loved Mulberry's light fabrics and my ultimate favorite mix: maxi sheer skirts with sporty sweaters. A very youthful and fun collection.

And on the other hand we have Richard Nicholl's pastel colors and very soft silky fabrics...very simple designs and yet so romantic. I would sleep, dance, walk, cook in such a garment! Like a second skin.

And let's not forget about Rodarte, which actually presented their collection in New York. Inspired from Vincent van Gogh's paintings, the sisters created these delicious colorful dresses which I can't take my eyes off! The models are literally wearing a painting. There is this girlie fresh vibe that is definitely different from their past collections, but still I can sense the Rodarte touch. A change is always good.

Which one you like best?
I definitely need to think my fall wardrobe but with all these shows, I am quite dazed.

Meet my new Jil Sander Spring 2011 inspired skirt! I really thought the fabric had potential, the color is fantastic and the touch is sensational! Additionally, I made a slit because I wasn't able to move in it! I guess I was supposed to make it in a different way but still, I love this result.

As we speak I am heading back to my hometown where I will be staying until fall, so I will see you from there in my next post!
Take care darlings!
