Let's be honest. Sometimes the week is just too long. And although the week seems to go by much faster once Thursday rolls around, getting past Wednesday can sometimes be a challenge. You're stressed, you're busy, and you just want the week to be over already! I hate to admit that what usually helps me get through the week are caffeinated fountain drinks, and lots of them. When I saw a fabulous post over on withHeart last week, I decided to try something new: Arrowhead® Sparkling Water and a fruity drink!
Arrowhead® Sparkling Natural/Mountain Spring Water is comprised of just three natural ingredients—spring water, natural fruit essence, and bubbles! And, with no sugar or calories, Arrowhead® Sparkling Natural/Mountain Spring Water is a good alternative to soda. Abigail and I used the sparkling water to make a fun, fruity, and refreshing drink to cool us off in the summer heat and to get us through another Wednesday. [Similar recipe HERE.]
Directions:
1. Fill a glass halfway with Arrowhead® Sparkling Natural/Mountain Spring Water.
2. Add any kind of fruity flavoring. [We used our favorite Mio flavor-- Cherry Blackberry.]
3. Add in Half and Half until glass is almost full.
4. Mix with a straw/spoon.
5. Add whipped cream and/or fresh fruit on top.
And then go and take a little break from life, because you deserve it! Abigail and I sat outside for a while, relaxing and sipping on our fruity drinks.
